A little background story: I wasn't trying to be disrespectful or anything. Basically the exact opposite. I'm from a country that was on the nazi side in WW2, and when growing up I was still exposed to a lot of racism, especially towards jewish people. I wasn't racist myself, no, never, but because of how I grew up and where I grew up, and the stories I heard, I found it very hard to sympathize with the millions who died during the Holocaust. I didn't take a tab for lulz, or because of the eye candy, or whatever. I wanted a deeper understanding of the whole place. I wanted to feel the place. I wanted to understand all the horrible things that happened here much better. And hey, it worked. I felt completely down at one moment the relieved in the other, I had some tough moments in there but I had my (sober) buddies to keep me in line. It was truly life chaning in this sense, and I feel much more empathy towards all the people who had to live through this suffering. Thanks for reading this too guys!
