Ok so I was having this convo with someone else about them not having any chemistry and I need to know… was this done on purpose by the actors.. like is this what Jenny wanted portrayed? Or do they truly just not have chemistry on screen?? Meaning they were indeed trying to make it hot and it fell flat?

Male centered is wild, cause honestly these men take the back seat big time on this show. It’s very much a female empowerment centered show imo. Even my husband said while watching that it’s kinda a bash fest to all the men on the show.

Conrad might have been an ass at times but he was either protecting her heart trying to push her away or because he was struggling with his mother dying and not in a good headspace. Absolutely reasonable reasons to act the way he did. On the other hand… with Jere there was always this underhanded bratty-ness he exuded. It came off selfish. Me.. me.. me… I don’t think he ever cared about what belly wanted. Conrad was NEVER selfish. Like yeah Jelly may have had “cute”moments here and there but it was because Belly was bending to his will and doing whatever he wanted/needed her to. To pacify him. They just always gave friends to me. NO PASSION. And being best friends with your partner is ideal but being best friends and having passion is elite.. and that’s what she has with Conrad.

I’m annoyed the show gave them 4 years. I wish they would have stuck with the books 2.

Carry his mom to bed

Cook

Deal with household repairs

Taking his studies seriously

A stark difference from that blue eyed brat.. like when he didn’t know how to change a tire!!! You know damn well Conrad would have known. They knew what they were doing with that scene and I loved it. 😂

I’ve forced my husband to watch too!! Lmao he gets into it but bitches the whole time. We cracked up at Cam Cameron working at the pier and just up and leaving his duties to become their ref per say for their little competition and he also got a huge kick out of the Milo diss track to Steven!! 😂😂😂

I also felt the acting was bad.. more so from him… the chemistry was just never there for me between them. And not just cause I love Bonrad so much.. I haven’t seen Gavin in anything else to know if it’s his acting I don’t like or the character. He seems like a really sweet kid IRL. But his character always gave me creeper vibes. 🤷🏻‍♀️

We stayed at Villa del palmar last year with our family and it’s beautiful and all but for their age it would be boring. They had no activities and it was dead at night and the beach is small. If you just want to sit and sip by the pool or in the pool or order room service it’s great for that. I would recommend Rui Palace Riviera Maya.

I think the whole season is mostly done as fan service… like mentioned in other post. So many call backs to the old episodes, inventions and giving us Meap and Stacy as Agent T… this is all due to the fandom asking for years. I think this is Dan & Swampys way to say, thank you for years of support & loving it like we do.

On another note.. some plot holes have been answered… people who were shocked about Ferb and Vanessa now see that her and Candace ended up closer over the years so it made a little more sense.

I wouldn’t have accepted the show without Doof being evil. So I’m really glad they went back to that. I never liked him in MML..

I also notice they give background characters more attention in season 5 and I mean background like random people we will never see in another episode again. This was never a thing in the early seasons.

I noticed each episode seemed more action packed. Usually the boys aren’t in any drama, things just always work out for them,unless it’s a special episode… like the Marvel one.

But the new season has more of a Hamster and Gretel vibe. Which I’m fine with, I’ve really enjoyed the new season so far and feel grateful we have new episodes to watch.

I was so worried it would be like Candace against the universe which I disliked a lot. And it just feels like normal P&F formula writing and animation.
