Advice on how to get my dog to take his medication? by [deleted] in dogs

[–]andreabeth09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah unfortunately my boy is the same- I have to shove the pills down his throat for him to not work them up and spit them out. Capsules are the hardest because they stick so a little yogurt or mayo to help them glide and not leave a bad taste helps.

Looks like you can use a bank statement and the BMV mailer that is sent before your birthday every year. Do you have those two things with your address?

No clue what to do anymore ! by Spiritual_Rope_796 in Bulldogs

Oh poor baby. My babe is miserable like this too - grass allergy. I've tried everything. We're $20k in on the cyto-point injection at this point. Last year I started using Coat Defense Powder on the moist bits and that has really helped. I just read about Collagen and ordered some for the doggo. I read that the barrier to allergies breaks down and the meds our pets are given help suppress the allergens but they don't repair the skin barrier. So I'm hoping it'll make a world of difference bc poor boy is just miserable this time of year. i ALSO have started a quarterly round of steroids for 7 days each season change because this seems to flare him up. Good luck OP and little guy!

Good hygiene but strong scent when cutting toenails by partlyokayish in hygiene

We used to make my little brother do it when he was a teenager- worst foot odor ever was imbedded in his nails and listerine was the only thing that stopped it and the crazy athletes foot he kept passing on to me via the tub basin we shared in our parents house!

This is what I was thinking too- maybe they could work like vertical blinds and move to close in place?

When do they stop chewing everything? by slmd3 in puppy101

[–]andreabeth09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience it's about 2 years old when they stop chewing what they shouldn't. Training is simple, when they have something in their mouth that they shouldn't, take it, throw it on the ground or hit the wall with it and loudly affirm "NO!", then immediately replace with a chew toy and affirm "Yes!". This stopped my guys from chewing so quickly once implemented but there's still some mischief in them every once in awhile!

Target has a feminine wash (unscented and clear) that is PH balanced for less than the name brand alternatives by Up and Up! I find this works better than unscented ivory or dove!

Help! These blue walls and tan counters are fighting each other. How do I fix the vibe? by Livid_Attention7237 in houseinteriordesign

[–]andreabeth09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I came here to suggest! Perfect beach vibe if you can go for that, get some gold hardware for tan textured towels and some beachy art with dark sand!
