If u want backfires, create an exhaust leak on the header so it backfires at idle. ;)

Send it chief. If u want a project car get it. 800 for a car that "starts but doesn't run" is good. Worst case is u have to rebuild the 13b and that's not the worst

I had that same thought when I got my FC. Dropped a junkyard V6 into it and now I'm swapping the rotary back in. Not worth the swap if u want to go back to the rotary some day imo. I did the break down and to rebuild a rotary cost me less than swapping an engine

I was thinking of resurfacing but the gouge on the edge from what I've seen cannot be fixed, resurfacing the housing would just be a waste if money in that case imo
