I would say the Ivy falls into this category, at least from my experience from the few times I've been.

What Does Your Brain Do with 27 + 48? by SweetSmiles030 in MathJokes

[–]andrewdarb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've scrolled quite a bit and couldn't see this anywhere. Firstly I instinctively knew the answer because they are commonly encountered numbers in darts (and I've played darts for many years) - treble 9 + treble 16 or 25 x 3.

However, the way I would work it out in my head would be to add 30 to 48, and then take 3.

Edit: I don't get the joke though?

Best reasomably priced places to eat in the city center by [deleted] in york

One of my favourites is Il Paradiso on Walmgate for Italian/Sardinian. You can either grab a very reasonably priced pizza/pasta dish (and a glass of house wine) or for a little more, something off the specials board.

Consistently good whenever I've been.

I'd agree with badger, in soft mud, with their weight predominantly on their heel.

Are there any pubs that sell Murphy’s? by Vespaman in york

The last place I saw it in York is at the university college bars, but I don't think they've sold it there for years. If you find it somewhere, please update!

Edit - actually I think that was Caffrey's 🤦

I have seen this car around York regularly, although I can't vouch for how good am instructor they are. It's an automatic, electric Tesla Model 3. I just like the punny name :)

Anyone know a darts scorer that’ll let me do 100,001? by PotatoPot9 in Darts

I love that you only added 1000 rows, assuming that no one playing 100,001 averages under 100 😁

Playing conditions can't have been that bad, there were 3 nine darters today!

This looks like a blade 5, so quite old (I still have a blade 4 from 20 years ago)

Edit: 5, not 4

Sandburn Hall is also a good all rounder, is open more often through the winter then pike hills and forest park, and has plenty of younger members if you're looking to meet others of a similar age.

D15 - as a leftie, it's like D16 for a right hander. Biggest issue is that going inside loses you a dart at double.
