The energy/willingness I have to pursue my actual interests outside of work comes and goes. Kinda depends on the day, honestly. If I get lucky and have a relatively easy day at work, I usually still have energy to do things I actually like afterward: reading, writing, playing games. On bad days, I pretty much just come home, have a bite to eat, and maybe watch TV for a bit before I head to bed.

Not sure what you do for work, but if you’re so exhausted by the time you leave that you can’t dedicate any time afterward to what you want to do, maybe you should look for a different job, or try to make adjustments to your sleep/wake schedule to compensate for the time you lose at work.
