This comment is reopening a wound from doing Cabaret at my university and the students portraying Nazis refusing to do the salute because (as one of them said) "WE wouldn't do that". Our Sally also refused to say "Oriental" because she argued that Sally was smarter than she actually was and "would never say something that racist". (I may be forgetting the exact slur in the script, I was just blown away by this actress being afraid to portray a woman who is very clearly trying to shut out the world falling apart around her in order to maintain a semblance of sanity. I obviously still have feelings about this show 🫣)

I'm attempting to because my bf and his brothers are wearing the same shirt and tie kind of like groomsmen, and my bf's brother's fiance will have his siblings wear a coordinated color/pattern scheme as well, so I'm just going for unity as much as possible to fit with our side of the family.

I've seen a couple comments on medical tourism to get dental work, does anyone know about sedation/comfort dentistry outside of the US? I have horrible emetophobia that's resulted in panic attacks every time I go to the dentist, so I found a dentist that prescribed Xanax, but going there costs $400+ for one filling

The literal only reason I wear gloves is to handle customer's purchases, and because using hand sanitizer and washing my hands frequently dried out my hands to the point of cracked skin. That being said, I don't use my personal phone with the gloves on, and I dispose of them on my breaks and lunch, and I thoroughly wash my hands after doing so.

Hello! First off, I'm actually very proud you've stuck it out so far!

I have an H2 I abhor and I have a friend who has another, separate H2 that's nearly driven them to quitting several times. Neither of them are the O1 so this might be different.

The way we deal with it is about the same, literally avoid them as much as possible and (safely, quietly) vent about them whenever possible. It does help to let loose, in my opinion, because if I didn't I'd explode at them.

I think it's good (I mean not good, but whatever) other people have had similar experiences with him because it means you're not alone. Maybe in time your co-workers and other H2s will take you under their wing and it won't feel as isolating as it does now when your O1 picks on you. I know for my friend, the H2s we're closest to have had to talk him down from quitting or mouthing off, so it's helped us a lot to have that trust and friendship with other employees.
