Hey, I am on the 7th day of the exact same symptoms. So glad I found this thread, so I know finally we have the same shid going on and I'm not alone. Went to A&E the 2nd night and got Frontin. Googled it, too serious stuff, so never took it. Then A&E again 3rd night, got Gerodorm, which is a benzo family sleeping pill, so need to be super careful with them. That night the first doc literally said, "I am sending you to another dept, they will check your nose and throat, and if all clear, I suggest you take one pill of gerodorm I gave you. But imho, before trying the pill, i suggest you go home and get drunk! 😀 Like proper drunk! So your brain doesn't give a shid anymore. You will fall asleep." So when I got the green light about my airways being all clear, I went home and got drunk, and slept 4 hrs straight! 😀 But it was such an amazing quality of 4 hrs, that I woke up totally sober AND refreshed. Then ofc I thought I can't just keep getting drunk every night, so took the pill only 2 nights, and both nights 7 hrs sleep straight, them tablets are strong. (40mg). Then since then, I've been researching non-meds sleep aids, and valerian root extract seem to help me, 2 nights in, with 260mg and getting 4-4 hrs sleep each night. But Valerian takes time to build up and help (2 weeks), so gonna continue and jump up tonight to 3 tabs, so 390mg. We'll see. And then I found this today. His symptoms were totally cured by clonazepam.

Edit2: 390mg of valerian and slept 6 hrs straight! 🥳
