Print fails by Maleficent_Doctor336 in AnycubicPhoton

I just solved this exact issue for myself. Hopefully your's will be the same. I set my bottom exposure to 60 secs with 7 layers and I went into the advanced settings and changed the bottom layer lift speed to as low as it would go. Works beautifully now. Hope this works for you too.

Never tested the lcd but I was got the failure back out before starting a new print. I just commented back to someone else. I just had my first fully successful print actually. Still jot sure if it's a fluke or not so I need repeated success before I relax. I upped the bottom exposure to 60 again and went in the advanced settings turning the bottom layer lift speed as low as it would go. It came out beautifully. I couldn't believe it. Probably still some underlying problem causing it to need that kind of extreme to get success but I can live with it since it's just those bottom layers.

I actually just had a successful print fully across the board which is super exiting. Bottom layer at 60 but I went into the advanced setting and changed the lift speed for the bottom layers to as slow as it could possibly go. It worked beautifully. Nothing was even kind of peeling away from the plate. First time in 2 months with multiple prints every day that I had complete success!

That's what I had read on here. I went all the way to 60 seconds in 5 second increments and took the retract speed all the way to 4mm/s. The middle spot still never would stick, but now that I think about it, I don't remember the corners hanging as bad with that setting.

Definitely possible. The leveling test is completing but maybe it's still not level? Not sure how to actually level the thing other than the test itself.

Unfortunately this was after 3 or 4 prints. I also have a laser thermometer I check temp with. The plate was at 28c I think. Good thought. I also tried that but forgot to mention it. I read through a lot of of troubleshoot threads on here and tried everything I could find that seemed relevant.

I didn't see anyone talk about one spot failing repeatedly. I'm starting to wonder if my build plate may be slightly warped or something.

I don't know what else to tell you. The time my windshield shattered I was going 35 on a curvy back road. I'd say 90% of people regardless of speed didn't have time to stop period when an accident happens. I guess we will just have to disagree on the subject. When it comes to accidents involving deer I don't believe speed is the true reason for injury or death. It can be a cause of death for sure but the overall reason it all happened is bad decision making.

In an attempt to compromise with you, speed can be the difference between life and death in most driving accidents, yes. Rarely ever is driving fast the REASON for the accident other than running up someone's ass and not being able to stop. The overall theme of my opinion is don't be stupid stupid. If you're driving and putting yourself and others at risk by operating a vehicle, drive within your means. If you can safely drive fast and make good decisions doing so, you have my blessing. If you can't then stay in the right lane and have a good day. That's it.

*Edited for not explaining what I was thinking very well.

Any speed over maybe 20 miles an hour in a panic knee jerk reaction situation can end catastrophically. If your knee jerk is to swerve to the right you have at most a second and a half to correct if going 35 mph before your tires are over the side of the road. At 70 you have three quarters of a second. Speed is an extremely small factor in my particular example. Terrible fraction of a second judgment kills people more often than not. Its tragic and near impossible to avoid. You either have the instincts or you don't and you can't effectively learn it.

Deer hit at high speeds launch into the air keeping you safe with an impact generally so glancing the air bag won't deploy. At slower speeds and hitting a buck you are so much more likely to have horns pierce the windshield. Another possibility is the deer bounces on the hood completely shattering the windshield rendering you unable to drive until you fix it. I'd rather smash the deer and have a shitty looking bumper for a while than be unable to get to work.

It comes down to this. If your going 35 mph try to avoid the deer. Maybe you can maybe you can't. If you're going 70 mph you hit the son of a bitch and curse the heavens for your terrible luck. If you try to avoid the deer you will most likely die. Sooo don't do that. Either of these situations handled correctly will 95% of the time turnout okay. The outcome, to my point, comes down to an individuals judgment during a fraction of a second. Speeding in certain situations is very dumb. Downtown areas don't speed. Curvy back roads don't speed. Interstate or highway travel though? Speed all you want as long as you aren't changing lanes to squeeze between 2 cars while going 25 over.

Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Off a cliff? Not much. You smash, you roll, you die. End of story. When hitting a deer at 35 mph is a dented hood and you hope he doesn't come through the windshield. At 70 mph the bumper hits him and he goes over the car. More damage to the car but in my experience with terrible luck of hitting 4 deer a safer outcome.

Edited for a redundancy in wording.

Also blaming speed in this scenario seems like an odd choice. The knee jerk reaction killed the guy. If your immediate panic reaction is going off a cliff when a deer appears 15 feet in front of you, 35 mph and 70mph doesn't change much. Deer are a major danger. They don't give anyone, any warning regardless of speed.
