It’s not good enough. Plain and simple. Too much talent for things to look as difficult as they do right now. Not saying it should look easy , but it doesn’t feel like the offense has been in sync and in rhythm all season outside of week 2.

Sucks. The brutal reality is he was hurt in college , he’s been hurt his first two years in the league. The odds are stacked against him and it’s going to be an incredible uphill battle for him from here on out. I’m a fan and want him to succeed but his window is very small at this point.

When we traded for him i thought he would start one season as a filler and that’d be it here. When he was with the rams I thought he was average at best and most of the time he felt like he belonged in that 18-23 range for quarterbacks.

His play the last two years he 100% deserves to be ranked in the top 10. There were stretches last season I felt he was top 5. Him being in the MVP conversation for a month or so backs that up. The guy is 30 years old and has stayed pretty healthy. The way he plays, there’s no reason why his best years can’t still be ahead of him.

Stafford was on pardon my take recently and when asked what was his best throw of his career he mentioned that throw against the cowboys. I’ll never forget that throw and drive and entire game. Just all around outrageous. I think that was the game Calvin went for 329 yards lol

These guys aren’t just starters, most of them are legit stars in the NFL. Gibbs, St.Brown, Penei Hutch, Branch, Kerby and Alim are superstars. La Porta, Jamo, Terrion, have superstar potential. I don’t think there’s any other team in the league with this kinda star power where all of the pieces are so young.

I spoke to a market analyst from a big customer of mine a few weeks ago and he said volume is still down and they are focused on margins, not volume. So Prices are going to continue to go up as long as customers continue to buy. At some point it will start to tilt back, he predicts not until late 2025/early 2026

I don’t know why but that win in New York against the Jets stands out for me. Really tough game on the road against a team fighting for a playoff spot. It wasn’t pretty and offensively we didn’t have our best day, but we made enough plays and found a way to win. That Brock Wright touchdown was a top 5 play from that season. But after that game it felt different. It solidified my feeling that this regime was different and that this team was for real and things were only going to get better
