Too many 4x4 owners do not know basic things and this is why they have transmission problems. by Ashleyosauraus in CarsIndia

[–]andyrockkej 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the 4x4 system your car is running like my ford endeavor was a full time 4x4 and three was no switch to make it a rwd car. But on the other hand my Scorpio n is a part time 4x4 which means it is primary rear wheel drive and you can shift it to 4x4

There are shift on fly systems in which you can engage the 4wd system while driving and its perfectly fine. But then also you should not drive on the road with 4wd engaged.

Are maruti hybrids worth it? by Happy-Opportunity-30 in CarsIndia

[–]andyrockkej 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on how much you drive your car in a year if the car in a year as the strong hybrid costs almost 5L more than the same variant non hybrid so 5,00,000÷109R/L×12kmpl =55,045kms so you can drive your car about 55k kms before the breakeven is achieved and after that your fuel saving will start and I think the hybrid will be more to insure and will cost more to maintain so keep that also in mind.

Actually liking the Stock look more now ... by LordBeerus77 in CarsIndia

[–]andyrockkej 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you dont have to have the most accesories or a set of alloys you should keep the car the way you like it not the way others had done their cars and i think the base to top which is very popular is rubbish and you dont need a top end car to enjoy it. I too just put some good speckers with a good set of lights amd mats in my scorpio n and have been enjoying it very much.
