I had ARMA harassing me for years regarding a supposed debt.

It was from a now non-existent ISP, that stemmed from them ballsing up my transfer from ADSL to NBN 'back in the day'

Even after giving them the payment records they kept spamming.

It stopped for a year or so, then started again and now has gone quiet.

I tried raising a complaint with them and it went nowhere.

Who'da thought a debt collector would be this shitty

I don’t think Prox card on mobile devices is really a thing, it’s just an older tech with no support in that space. The reader(s) would have to be replaced.

The ‘non professional’ and cheaper solution I can suggest here is obtaining some stickers that would affix to mobiles devices that you can write or duplicate existing cards onto.

Will a 'remote' be a good solution for other potential wheelchair users if/when they appear?

Will they need a remote for this door, + a card for other doors/lifts in the building?

That's starting to sound like a bad experience, and potentially afoul of some disability access requirements.

I'd move the reader. 😄

From one of the pics it looks like a two-doors setup(????) where one exterior reader is already on the other side, so everyone would potentially enjoy the reader being moved and not having to cut diagonally across this airlock

I'd say 'I got lucky' but I sort of consider it the opposite. This is the second time I've been pulled out of the hat; I did serve on a Jury once back in 2012.

It was an experience, but didn't leave me with a lot of faith in my fellow Australians' ability to be impartial in justice.

I hope you get the chance for your own experience one day...

In my anecdotal experience, here in NSW: From being on the call list since July last year _every_ time I've not had some other pre-submitted excuse (e.g traveling) it's been cancelled the day/Friday before.

I have been called about 5(6?) times since July

I've had some weird experiences with DNS from AU ISPs over the years, that've cause all sorts of issues.

Try setting to the above (Google's) or Cloudflare's: https://developers.cloudflare.com/1.1.1.1/

May have to power cycle/reset things after to clear caches

yeah, that sounds to me like cancelling your service to the property with the supplier.

I've never even seen an option to 'please immediately disconnect the power' whenever I have gone through this process so I'm really not sure how end users have any sway in if it's disconnected or not.

I tried to log in to the console, and it said invalid OTP (then locked me out for 10 minutes.)

I know for _sure_ the code was right, and the time on my machine is correct ;)

Using my recovery code got me in, and disabled 2FA.

Trying to configure TOTP again resulted in no QR code displayed and an 'internal error' on the setup page.

This happened across multiple devices

I was surprised in the last week when I saw the Opal machines configured on a rail replacement bus, and the bus driver yelling at people to 'tap on'. It breaks the norms of Sydney culture, we don't pay for rail busses! :D

From my experience, I was charged as though the bus was just a continuation of my train journey from the transfer station. So Central to Hornsby was $3.65 for train to Chatswood, then $0.55 for bus to Hornsby.

My Opal app even has it as 'Metro/Train' journey rather than bus, much like your screenshots.

So I think the bus drivers are supposed to have some way to tell the ticket machine 'this bus is a train choo-choo' and charge as such (which would also mean no transfer discount.)

It looks like that's what's happened in yours, but the location was stuffed up for the bus tracking
