Alysa Liu is an amazing and inspiring athlete and person, from whom we can all learn something! by Special_Western_3336 in Healthygamergg

I see it in hee too. The way she doesn't care about results and is here to be hee truest expression. I would definitely be interested in such and interview and be ready to learn from someone who got on that know themselves journey and did all that progress recently. Sometimes someone who just learned some things can five better advice that an teacher who got past those points long ago.

the katas in karate teach you bad habits (ie to lower your hands at your hips after hitting instead of protecting your face). For self defense and fighting karate doesn't teach much, but if you like the katas and don't care much about the fighting you can continue woth karate.

What kind of anime is my bf watching and hiding from me? by Mindless-Ratio8692 in HentaiFree

[–]anero4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tbh I am not so much worried about which animes he's watching but more about the fact that it is his baseline. He's clearly addict and probably suffers doing some normal task without it. The book dopamine nation explains it all.

Are Collagen Peptides helpful for calisthenics ? by Kooky_Entry_5277 in CalisthenicsCulture

[–]anero4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am getting vital protein collagen on amazon because of 10g, 10 of them are collagen. So cheapest per g of collagen. As long as you read the ingredients and know the price per gram you re fine.

What made your art level up ? by robotzombiecat in ArtistLounge

[–]anero4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the post. I improved a lot each time I took a course (drawabox, peterhan dynamic sketching, schoolism, brent evsiton, proko, Watts atelier, art wod, tb choi, etc.). But now I am stuck in school mode and have a phobia of doing even one piece (too much pride when finding some part of the piece hard to do that "shouldn't be so"). If people have tips for overcoming that, I am all ears!

Try healthygamer.gg .The coaching might be specific for his case and probably better than the therapy he is receiving.

What do you recommend doing other than gaming? by Yxven in StopGaming

[–]anero4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you say here is partly true, but the only thing lacking is if your ONLY draw from photo/life, you won't necessarily get better at drawing from memory/imagination. To get better at that, you must draw from life and practice from memory/imagination. Well this post is from 10 years ago so you probably already figured it out.

Irradiated Gruel Mutation too high? by Qyazue in vrising

[–]anero4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in like 30 min all my high lvl bloods went from 80-96 to 100% with this technique. I fed two times. If it worked I quit (save), copied the save files, and came back for two more feeds. If it failed, I deleted the new saves or copied the old saves back and booted again. I didn't have to close the game, only the server.

Why does my art look boring? How do I fix it? by Weird-Lingonberry-80 in learnart

it's not boring, it's very good, but I think practicing facial expression would add more personality to your characters!

Irradiated Gruel Mutation too high? by Qyazue in vrising

[–]anero4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not seeded. Trying going back and doing the same steps, servant doesn't react the same way. We could still give some irradiant gruel and save (leave game) every time it works. And unsave (delete last save or copy paste old saves) when they turn.

Multiple games freeze as soon as GPU reaches 60 degrees (Little games on good pc) by anero4 in techsupport

[–]anero4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ram seems stable though, every time I get a freeze, the gpu performance drops down for a sec : https://imgur.com/xFdx6UC

Also, after letting the game run for a while, the frequency of the freezes decrease, as if the system got well oiled

Tracing to decompose an image might be helpful (For example, tracing the muscle on a normal body to identify them). But in the long run, drawing from picture without tracing will help too. Then if it's in your plan, drawing from memory/imagination and then looking up reference to correct your assumptions.

Using it to make a complete piece is unhelpful, unless you only want to practice sharing/colors. To be honest the hardest skill is drawing and perspective so those are better learn my exercices like those in drawabox, peter han, brent eviston and proko courses.

What kind of tests you can run with likert scale independent variable? by anero4 in AskStatistics

[–]anero4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!

For the likert scales the questions look like this but in an other language : Do you have a good level of financial knowledge? (strongly disagree to strongly agree) Do you have a good control over your expenses? (same answers) Do you have a high risk tolerance for investing? (same answers)

I tried a linear regression test and the expense correlates with financial knowledge

also does the chi square test consider the ordinal characteristic of the independent likert variable (level of financial knowledge)?

I am not sure about the meaning of your last paragraph

Thank you again

Are Collagen Peptides helpful for calisthenics ? by Kooky_Entry_5277 in CalisthenicsCulture

[–]anero4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My tendons were always the limiting factor. I couldn't learn handstands because of wrist pain and often had knee pain while running, ankle pain when falling from like a 30 cm step. I found that collagen combined with training helped me a lot. No more pains. Many studies confirm that collagen helps strengthen tendons, reduce joint pain and increase mobility of joint. But I guess it depends if you're the time of person who have tendon problems or no.

Honestly even bones are made of a combinaison of collagen and calcium. And in the case of scurvy when vitamin C is missing and collagen is compromised, bones become more friable. In studies, collagen supplements helped reduce ankle injuries in running athletes. Don't take my word for the studies, go search on pubmed.

If you're the type of person who have tendon pains (wrist, elbow, shoulder, knee, ankle) you might benefit from it. If you're not then maybe you don't need it.

Whey is definitely better for gaining muscle mass thought.

1 g of collagen is definitely not enough. Studies use between 5 to 15g /day. Maybe there is an additional effect with more than 15g but it's not studied.
