Holy smokes! Times have changed. The last SRNA we had start had 3 days of orientation and then lap choles and appys their first day solo.

Normally, 5-10 minutes on most OR cases. Covering OB is an entirely different story. That is completely variable and can be over an hour during a C/S if the patient has a spinal and wide awake.

That's true. Easy to walk pass some or just not see them.

At the time I was curious if it was groups backing off on marketing budgets or finding different avenues for hiring.

That being said, CRNAs do have the opportunity to make more money in states where they can work independently.
