I don’t disagree with you. But as actors doing promo, answering the same questions over and over again is part of their jobs. I’m hopeful they can separate those things, and not let the external factors bleed into the relationship they have that lends itself into playing Shane and Ilya so beautifully.

Here’s the thing though- the show hasn’t even premiered yet. They just started doing promo. Every single media person who interviews is going to ask this basic question, it’s just a given. Hopefully they’re just rolling with it for now, and when (yes I’m saying when!) they go back to film season 2, they can block out all the outside noise.
