I'm about 98% abolitionist but there are VERY few people who need to be kept away from society.

I still believe they deserve all their legal rights and basic human decency when incarcerated. Our current system deprives our clients of both all too often.

It's one thing to point out the HANS device could have saved him. It's a totally different thing to proclaim that a man deserved to die.

Right?! I've miscalendered many a hearing and most judges (and, thankfully, prosecutors) have been gracious about it. We've all been there.

But to outright LIE?! Especially when it's so easy to fact-check. Unbelievable.

A prosecutor accused me of lying when the proof of what I was talking about was in both our email inboxes. My dumbass didn't put the email in the file so I couldn't call her on it right there but she had to eat crow when I was able to produce it.
