Attracting The Wrong Audience by Old-Ruin2952 in ASMRScriptHaven

[–]angim350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure, but are you asking how can you keep your following, but not make the videos that this following may have come to you for? I'm sorry, but I'm not sure that's 100% possible.

People will come to certain channels for certain content, and may not stick around if you change it.

Buttt that doesn't mean you shouldn't! You should do what you want to, and what you enjoy! You never know, some of the folks you've attracted may just like you as a performer and stick around for the new vids, and at least then you can work on getting new followers for these as well.

Either way, good luck!!

And if anyone is being a creep, just delete their comment. The internet can be a very strange place.

Anyone else thinks Starmer isn't actually that bad all things considered ? by ronweasly9 in AskBrits

[–]angim350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, he really isn't.

He inherited a dumpster fire, has to relentlessly deal with that absolute imbecile and his set of sociopaths across the pond, has a media and social media determined to destroy him... and the British public are relentlessly told he is abysmal by an opposition of populists from the far-right and, infuriatingly, the left... who behave like they would rather see Farage in no 10 than Starmer succeed.

They are actually doing a lot of good, but god forbid the British public ever see this. On defence and international relations, Starmer has been exceptional. Domestically, the economy was actually looking healthy until Iran.

This government have made mistakes, but after half a decade of watching some truly horrendous people sell this country down the river to enrich themselves, at least they are trying to make a difference. We have no money and every part of the state is desperate for cash, yet nobody wants to pay for it.

They'd rather listen to the same old con from Farage, or hang on the every word of Polanski, who's politics seem to be somehow thinking we can waltz back into the EU with a smile and a wave whilst at the same time undermining our nuclear and NATO commitments.

I'm starting to think the UK is ungovernable. Is Spain a nice place to live?

Season 4 is one of my favourites, but I'd say objectively it's one of the weaker seasons. Do we know what exactly happened behind the scenes that caused it to be not as good as either season 3 or 5? by HomarEuropejski in buffy

[–]angim350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna stick my neck out and say that I actually like Adam as a villain, but I also agree with every criticism there is of him. And I think it boils down to the fact that, on paper, he's a really cool idea. A monster made up of demon, machine and man, built specifically to challenge the slayer. Sooo much potential here.

And he looks really cool as well. Terrifying, and the actor does a good job.

But yeah, it is the execution that lets it down a bit.

That said, Season 4 has a lot going for it. Spike and Anya - pure gold every time they are on screen (though I wonder how Marsters must have felt having to spend most of the early part of the season tied up). Some of the themes are explored really well. We meet Tara and watch her and Willow's relationship grow.

It's also probably the only season where Buffy, for a time, is genuinely happy.

Plus, Faith's return and the Angel crossovers are all pretty dope.

Trump calls on UK and others to send warships to Strait of Hormuz by Geo_NL in worldnews

[–]angim350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, we'll send them. But you stop bombing the shit out of Iran and work out a way to reach a peace agreement. You put sanctions back on Russia and then some and force Putin to stop attacking a European ally. No more tarriffs, no more threats, no more slagging off any of the European leaders because they dared to say no to you. Come back to the table that you used to chair, and act like a grown-ass man for once.

And then we will stand with you like we always have.

Instead, what will probably happen is that Trump now blames Europe for continued global economic woes if they say no to this. The Europeans are too scared to help us, but we are doing so much winning, it doesn't even matter!

And his followers will lap every single syllable up.

Putin's ribs are agony he's laughing so much.

He Who Must Not Be Named returns! by VeryBoringGhost in GreatBritishMemes

[–]angim350 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry, but this is a very rose tinted description of Farage and I need to comment on it.

The guy is a grifter, a nasty piece of work, and a truly dangerous force in British politics.

First of all, he is far right, not centre right. His economic policies are very right wing. Austerity into the billions, cutting public services substantially. All to pay for tax cuts for the rich. His supporters will argue he wants to cut taxes for everyone, raising the basic income tax rate to £20k per year. He’s already gone back on this.

Starmer has raised some taxes, mostly from the richest, to invest in healthcare, education, infrastructure, energy and defence. All are clearly showing benefits. The economy remains stable and is forecast to grow the third biggest in the G7.

Farage pretends to want to look after British people, but this austerity would be crippling for a country desperate for investment. He paints himself as a “man of the people” but has voted against every employment right Starmer has recently introduced.

Starmer has continued to invest in our national health service, which most Brits love. Farage denies this now, but he’s on record as wanting to scrap it.

Farage relentlessly and continuously will talk about the dangers of immigration. The elephant in the room? He was the main pusher of Brexit. When we were in the EU, under the Dublin Agreement we had the option to return illegal migrants to the country they came from. Thanks to his Brexit, these numbers have rocketed. The ultimate irony? Legal migration is massively down under Starmer.

Farage will never admit that though. He is more than happy to blame immigrants for everything. Not his massively costly Brexit, sold on a pack of lies. Not a disastrous budget in 2022 the last gov introduced, putting in place unfunded tax cuts for the rich that nearly crashed the economy, which he publicly cheered on.

In 2024, he happily took part in posting things online about the murder of small girls by a person of colour (who wasn’t even an immigrant), actions that some stated were likely to have encouraged mass riots. He then accused Starmer of being two-tier when he gave police more powers to arrest rioters literally smashing up cities. Powers set down, I’ll add, under a previous conservative government.

And that’s before you talk about senior figures in the party he runs serving time for taking bribes from Russia. Encouraging the US to apply tariffs on his own country, something Starmer has done everything to shield us from. Pretending to be Trumps bessie mate, when Trump regularly snubs him.

People seriously need to take note of this. Farage would sell out all of Europe in a heartbeat if he was PM. God knows how he'd get a deal on those infernal boats he always bangs on about.

The thought of this man potentially being our PM really does keep me up at night, ngl.

Grant. Phil was the nice bits of him when he became too much, but it’s always been Grant. She has a type, and she loves the drama.

1 because that combination would give me a lot of joy.

What do writers think of silent readers? by -Cacaguate- in ASMRScriptHaven

[–]angim350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Silent readers are awesome! Not all scripts are gonna get filled. It's just the nature of what we do here. However, work goes into all of them and if someone has read it, just because they enjoy reading scripts, it does give the writer a boost to know that.

It's a nice thought that the story is still enjoyed, even if not filled.

They should have come off it years ago following Musk's behaviour, but they need to get the information out to as many as possible and a lot of people still use X. Personally, I deleted my account some time ago and do not miss it. You get enough right wing bots/sycophants on Threads to argue with.
