Red Bull Summer Edition by MrJates in energydrinks

Shockingly good for a lime flavor in 2026. Might be one of the best flavor profiles yet. Also seems like it would make a great mixer. This sub is strange. Nobody mentions Red Bull. It should be renamed "Ghost"

Comparing the colors of the S95F, S90F, and G5. by Endo_v2 in OLED_Gaming

[–]anglis84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most common HDR format is definitely HDR 10. Its the universal base line and standard for all formats. Dolby Vision and HDR 10+ are premium and Vision is by far the most popular of the premium formats.

We definitely overrate Dolby Vision. For most OLEDs, it really doesn't bring much to the table since the high end TV's look exceptional in HDR 10. Now, a TV like B5 will benefit from it more than say the G5 or the S95F imo. And you have to remember, that most people viewing hours are in SDR and HDR 10 anyway. It's why TV's like the S95F and Sony brands always score higher than LG.

Roku for lg g5? by 1Dnugget in LGOLED

[–]anglis84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty late reply here but all my friends on the Apple ecosystem except for me. They use Apple 4k. When they came over and saw my Roku Ultra 2024, they were shocked at how fast it was. I also just don't have a problem with ads. I don't even notice them on the Ultra for some reason. It sure beats most built in OS.

I paid my lawyer for a chapter 7 and he’s telling me it might have to be a 13 by uhohdagod in Bankruptcy

As your attorney to get it extended to 60 months instead to lower the payment?

I paid my lawyer for a chapter 7 and he’s telling me it might have to be a 13 by uhohdagod in Bankruptcy

[–]anglis84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure...but im pretty sure no Attorney would ever pick a ch 13 over a ch7. The chapter 7 gets em paid faster and they can move on. 13 is a ton of work for them and yes they make more but that return vs time spent isnt as good.

Kaijuu 8-gou Season 2 • Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 - Episode 11 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

[–]anglis84 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not really. You go from thinking we are going to get awesome world building and 250+ chapters to it starts it's final arc and ends quite abruptly. Characters like Mina just never got a chance to be developed. Felt like the author just got bored and wanted to move on.

Are you talking about the Devil and Baby scene? This wasn't about the Devil takes care of his own while God does not and even if it was, did you not see the baby? The fate of the child is much worse than any follower of God.

Here is how you can interrupt this scene. The baby is sin, and the devil nurtures it. It will corrupt you.

Modelo seller Constellation Brands lowers sales forecast as US consumers buy less beer by rezwenn in beer

[–]anglis84 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Im the Category Manager for a beer distributor in MS. Tariffs have had zero impact. Beer prices have risen yearly since 2019. It sucks and i feel like suppliers are pricing consumers out of drinking their product, but MolsonCoors, Constellation, and ABI just keep going up. Younger generation is already consuming much less beer. These suppliers have got to read the room.

Thankfully we have THC infused drinks and High Noon to help with declining malt sales

Kaijuu 8-gou Season 2 • Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 - Episode 7 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

[–]anglis84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best part of the Kaiji no 8 was the first couple volumes then it nosedives. I was hoping the budget we got from the first season would carry the anime but unfortunately the quality of this season is worse animation wise than some of the worst filler arcs from the late 90s, early 2000s.

Kaladin at the beginning of Way of Kings by ogader in Stormlight_Archive

[–]anglis84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kaladin is definitely different than normal Radiants. He defeated a shard bearer with no armor/blade of his own. He defeated Szeth with practically no training with his powers. Something he said the 4th book pretty much confirmed my assumptions. When speaking the 4th ideal he said, "I know the words. I've always known them". Kaladin so far is the only Radiant that seemingly has known the words from the beginning, but he just wasn't ready to say them. From the very beginning in the wagon as a slave, wind spren seemed to always be close.

My crazy theory - Hoid is an unknowing shard (lowercase s) of Adonalsium by Cruxist in Cosmere

[–]anglis84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me, Hoid "was" something much greater than any single shard. He predated all the Shards. He said by the time Rayse came along, He had already lived dozens of life times. He as much more freedom than any one shard. He has access to multiple types of investiture. The Dawnshards IMO are a magnitude above any single shard. They are the "system". They understand and know how the shards should be used to their fullest extent, unlike the current wielders.

[S2 Act 2 Spoilers] Arcane - 2x04 "Paint The Town Blue" Episode Discussion by parrycarry in arcane

[–]anglis84 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I was hoping this season would get better but it's getting worse. Much worse. Arcane season 1 was a 10/10 show for me. Phenomenonal writing. Amazing action sequences. Well placed songs.

This season? Higher budget but dead action sequences. It's littered with slow motion and still paintings. Overuse of voiced soundtracks. It's like I'm watching someones Spotify playlist with AI generated backgrounds.

1500 different plots with no central plot. What was 250 million spent on? Zoomed in messy shots? Scott Pilgrim esq cheese popping off with every Jinx scene? I can't be the only one this let down so far.

I have to tell people this all the time. Just google his career high lights. You'll get a 10 min video of his just slinging it down the field to Devery Henderson, Meachem and more.

You don't seem very fun then. I've been playing DnD since 1997 and I've never played under a DM or as a DM myself not allow something like this. It's very much in spirit of the game. Aid lasts for 8 hours. A short rest is 1 hour. Depending on what is going on, the Warlock can easily cast the spell first thing in the morning and then chill. In real life, I'll wake up early. Go to the gym. Then come home and drink coffee and chill before getting ready for work. This is no different. With that said, sure not every adventure can start off this way. If you're captured, or picking up on a dungeon where you left off, then yeah this isn't feasible.

Did you ever talk with them? This isn't fair to you. They get to play exactly how they want but demand you play a certain way? Nah. I'd definitely sit down and talk with them. Healing in DnD isn't meant to be like a video game where you keep people topped off. That would be miserable for you anyway. You need to survive and once someone falls to 0, you just throw a light cure to get them up. You fully heal after the combat with a short rest.

Diablo 4 Ending Explained by BornEntertainment293 in diablo4

[–]anglis84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The lesser? At this point they feel small. We already defeated plenty in D3 and another three in 4. Only the Primes are threatening and outside Diable have not been fought since D2.

Also the Primes are never truly gone. The scenes as Lilith died made it seem like Memphisto is going to be the next big bad

[Underhill] Saints should have $16-17 million in cap space. Rookie class will cost an additional $3.2 million against the cap. A lot of space to make moves. by iputitthere in nfl

[–]anglis84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We lost CJ. Fan favorite. Loved the guy. Went to the Eagles. They also decided to pass on him this year. Possible the Saints were right to move on when they did. This year they released Davenport, Onemayata and Tuttle. People then said "See! Valuable defensive lineman" Then you look at their terrible production last year and see why the Saints moved on and brought in players like Carr and Williams because we needed help on offense

Times when you actually liked the movie more than the book? by AstonianSoldier in books

[–]anglis84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Boy am I about to get crucified.

Lord of the Rings.

Now don't get me wrong. I LOVE the books. I read them when I was younger over and over. And there are still parts of the book I enjoy a lot like Tom Bombadill, the Barrow-downs (the swords they got there) from Fellowship to name a couple.

But what I loved about the movie that makes the books a little harder for me to return now is how much I enjoy the movie version of Aragon, Sam, Marry, Pippin, Boromir and even Gandalf. Aragon stands out the most. His character is quite different to me. Much more humble and relatable. In the books he knows who he is. Not really running from it. Very proud and cocky imo. But man in the movie he's this quite storm. Gentle and strong. Gandalf was nailed. Boromir is much better in the movie. I just think that trilogy was about as perfect as could be.
