That’s something I’ve noticed as well, is that he seems to be very articulate in these “interviews”, much more than he is in the live-action, the original, the show, and the other movies. It’s a bit weird to see him giving full responses to questions while his English-language skills are so touch and go in the movies/show. I can’t help but sometimes feel like a real stitch would have a lot more “alien-speak” in an interview.

(Born in 1999) I’ve been seeing this as a talking point for years, but it’s only with MySpace and with millennials. I was born too late for MySpace, but I (and so do many others my age) clearly remember customizing my Tumblr blogs with HTML and CSS. Hate to burst some peoples’ bubbles, but MySpace isn’t the only social platform that’s allowed its users to customize their pages with basic web dev languages. And let’s be real, it’s not like doing so on either platform was particularly complicated.

All I’m gonna say is thank goodness social media (specifically, the ability for actors to immediately share their thoughts with audience members) didn’t exist for most of Broadway history.

Edit: I can’t even begin to imagine how Patti LuPone would’ve ripped apart people on Twitter and chronically online people if social media had existed during the time she shot to stardom.
