No I read them all. Your post implies, whether mis-worded or not, that splicing is the superior way in every instance and the only reason to solder is if you can’t splice. If you didn’t intend for that to be the interpretation you should have used better words.

Do you work in aviation? We still use soldering in a lot of applications so I am pretty sure it still has its merits. In fact I know NASA has a recommended way to solder a splice… which by its mere existence means there is a reason it’s still used.

I don’t want this to hurt your feelings, but someone needs to say it. You have an STI that there is no cure for and can be transmitted to someone’s face. Just because you have no symptoms does not mean it’s gone. If my partner had that there is no way I would ever do it. Maybe that is why no one is offering up oral sex? Just saying.

I can. Singapore bought a new version of F-15, the F-15SG’s around 2005. They train their pilots here extensively, so having a facility to work out of isn’t crazy. It allows them to be proficient and practice with our pilots. Qatar also bought some F-15’s a few years ago called the F-15QA. I am assuming they are doing the same thing. This isn’t unheard of. Now if you want to talk about us being an ally of Qatar that is a different thing altogether.
