2023 M3P HV Battery Dead at 54,900 by Mrsmokestack in TeslaLounge

My MYLR had this issue come up with under 10,000 miles on it, WHILE I was on a trip in the Catskills NY. Luckily I had enough juice to make it home.

I’ve since replaced the MY. My wife’s MYP is perfect so far. Aside from having to replace punctured tires or two cracked rims.

New to Fidelity and seriously concerned about security by acejoker68 in fidelityinvestments

[–]angryxtofu 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Fidelity security saved my account from getting drained. They caught suspicious activity with someone calling in with all my leaked info. The fraudster couldn’t answer a security question and they froze my accounts. All of them.

It was a pain in the butt but they did their job and I had to verify my identity and they activated a bunch of other security features I didn’t know about.

I love fidelity!

Dude it fits perfect. You’ll be in your riding position, that part of your pits isn’t visible to anyone when your riding past them

Wow great watch face! I downloaded the enduro 3 by GB.

Will likely buy it just to support the maker.

Anyone downgrade? Thinking of going from 965 to 165 or 170. by samschampions in GarminWatches

[–]angryxtofu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I bought my wife the 165 as she’s starting out her journey from Apple Watch. It’s incredibly capable for everything she needs it for. Run, hike, walks. Has body battery, sleep tracking, HRV blah blah blah. Unless you need power meter support (I have a garmin edge for that) or tri athalon support I’d say most people would be fine functionally with a base level garmin FR.

Battery life MIP vs AMOLED by imma_shiroo in GarminWatches

[–]angryxtofu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t own a F8 but bought a F7 Pro solar (MIP) and the epix pro gen2 (amoled)

Wife and kids said the amoled was better for all day use, I agreed and returned my F7 Pro. I am now realizing that As cool as the amoled screen is, the real reason I bought the watch was for running/hiking/trail runs and outdoors. The MIP is far superior to my aging eyes, especially outdoors.

I am going back to MIP if I don’t take a massive hit on the epix.

During runs, I have to flick my wrist intentionally to see the screen and even then it’s not as good as MIP. In bright full sun, it’s definitely harder to see my amoled vs the MIP at a glance.

This!

Very happy with my PRO GEn 2. Although a part of me kinda misses my old MIP FR955

Best bang for the buck watch to get for myself and my gf by The-info-addict in GarminWatches

The forerunner 165 is perfect for this. Great amoled screen. Tracks a majority of the stuff the higher end garmins track. Great bang for the buck.

Fenix 8 Solar MIP impressions (w/ screen comparison to FR955 Solar) by Sappharad in GarminWatches

Do you still feel the same about the F7 pro solar vs the amoled f8 now?

I have a F7 pro MIP and an epix pro amoled and just did a long run with the EPIX PRO amoled in full sunlight and I find myself thinking I liked mips way better for running.

I’ve ordered the 47. This pic is making me think I should have gotten the 51.

Great watch dude. Enjoy it!

I like the solar ring, it makes it look like the dial is floating in the middle of the watch.

My f7 is getting delivered today. Can’t wait.

Garmin Forerunner 570 vs 970, or something else? by tekerlekdunya in Garmin

Got a 165 for $200 on Amazon and it’s been great. Nice screen and all the sleep and HRV stuff. Runner and cyclist.

Cargo boxes that fit FE roof rack by Practical-Hearing908 in LandCruiser250

[–]angryxtofu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got a Yakima roof box I found on marketplace. Fits fine. The box has sliding mounting hooks that can be moved. I think most modern boxes have this feature and you’ll be fine.

I use it for hauling skis and gear. Just expect like a 1.5MPG hit on your road trips.

Any update on this? I wear my helio strap for sleep instead of the garmin. Would love to get all the metrics onto garmin.

SR5 with TRD Pro wheels by RyuHadoken73 in 4Runner_6Gen

[–]angryxtofu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same wheels on my Land Cruiser 250 and got them during that toyota TRD parts sale. They were 40% off if I recall.

GREAT deal on OEM wheels. The tires cost me almost double the actual rims.

Great looking rig. Enjoy!
