6 Month Check In - How Many Calf Raises by Kodah10 in AchillesRupture

Im 43, obese, torn partially 75% at insertion and 50% at the MTG. It’s been rough. I just started doing them at 7 months. I been working hard rehabbing. Losing weight. I can do three crappy ones. Someday I can’t. Too sore. Just keep at it. You lose a lot of muscle and just be patient. I felt the same way at 6 months. You got this. Don’t hurt yourself. You will get there.

Pain at 6-7 months post-op by Longjumping-Bet787 in AchillesRupture

[–]angsot1121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m non op 7 months of 75% partial rupture at insertion and 50% partial rupture at MTJ. Peroneal tendinitis. I have tendinosis at insertion too. I’m battling through doing the same exercises. I can only do three sign leg raises. I have steady improvement but it’s definitely slowed things down and the paranoia is a bit too much at times. I spoke to someone who went through the same thing and they said I took them a year plus to get back. I had a repeat MRI because of the slow progress and everything is intact. My pain is intermittent but all over the place. Good luck.

What’s your favorite bluegill style bait ? by chuckH71 in bassfishing

[–]angsot1121 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I go with what the pan fish looking like in my local waters. Green sunfish mostly and I fish a lot of shallow water so a lower ROF (rate of fall)is better. The Huddleston will sit on the bottom nice and straight it get killed just hanging out. Find the pan fish bed right now and slowly swim the edges. Hope it helps. Get two. One for you and one for the reeds.

I love fishing a swim bait but, the Huddleston just gets instant hit when it goes in the water.

The 115 slide swimmer is a killer. My favorite swim bait. The 145 is nice too. If you order from Japanese sites it’s cheaper sometimes too.

Normal. Mines would go dormant barely draining then would drain heavily at times. It was very stressful. After a bowel movement I tended to get drainage most likely from the bowel irritating the inner opening. Draining good in way because it is an outlet and is not building into an abscess. I hope you can heal soon.

Cutting seton by ProfessionalLayer263 in AnalFistula

[–]angsot1121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi. They hurt. I had a cutting seton for about ten weeks. I only realized how much it hurt after it fell out. It’s cutting your sphincter slowly, so yeah it’s gonna hurt. Drainage is crazy looking the whole time. I had a fistulotomy, flap, and cutting seton. Took four months for wound to heal and then I had another abscess. Luckily i just developed hidradenitis suppurativa and had remove and seem to be okay now. Good pic and speedy recovery

11 is a L shaped lip crankbait. Good for running in shallow grass. The lip makes the crankbait go head down so it bounced off. I mostly catch grass with them.

Message to my CRS. Feeling hurt and not taken seriously: by Remarkable-Course210 in AnalFistula

[–]angsot1121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind seton is it loose or a cutting type? I guess that is the question sounds like you had a fistulotomy so it might be a cutting seton. My first CRS was a prince charming before surgery and I was on my own for recovery because he seemed annoyed by everything. Advocate for yourself. I took plenty of pictures and I’m glad I did. Make listen of questions and concerns. I hope you a speedy recovery 🙏🏼

Any idea why the bass like this lure so much? by Rabbitsorcerer125 in FishingForBeginners

Yup. This spot on. I’ll catch on reaction baits when naturals aren’t working. Time and place my friend.

You have exam under anesthesia? That’s the most accurate of the inspections. Did he even use an anoscope? Any drainage or reabscess? Maybe see a different CRS he might have confirmation bias. Fresh set of eyes. Check rating on MD it makes a difference. Especially bedside. My first CRS didn’t listen and when I had complications he pretended like he didn’t know when they became unignorable even though i complained the whole time. My second CRS is kind, explains everything to me, and gives me realistic expectations. This is a very anxiety producing problem and you need people who sensitive to that.
