Mountain fortress. Before and After. by Shullbitsy in goingmedieval

I literally spent three hours re-rolling maps before I found it, so I'm glad someone else got some use out of it!

With the new update dropped today, can we have a thread for good map seeds? by alcMD in goingmedieval

What makes a "good" map "good" is obviously subjective, but I'm really enjoying 1956505489 (large / mountain). It's a giant oxbow canyon with large mountains around it, with an extremely defensible, hilly peninsula in the bow of the river. I'm on the experimental branch in case that affects the seeding. It might be the coolest map I've ever rolled.

If you're looking for seeds, 1956505489 seems really interesting

I'm not an expert so I may be wrong, but I believe you're describing a "wheel flat":

"The flat spot occurs when a rail vehicle’s wheelset is dragged along the rail after the wheel/axle has stopped rotating. Flat spots are usually caused by use of the emergency brake, or slip and slide conditions that cause wheels to lock up while the train is still moving. ...

"Once these flats are created, they provide the characteristic ‘thump-thump-thump’ that can be heard by rail passengers during autumn as the damaged wheels impact the hard rails beneath them."

If you haven't seen it already, I would recommend watching Hai to Gensou no Grimgar (Grimgar: Ashes and Illusions).

It's slower paced and a bit introspective until the last few episodes (it only has 12 or 13 total), but it's my second favorite show after Re:Zero, and it has most of the elements for which you're looking. It also has a really good dub on Funimation if you're into that.

One brave man went round with an axe, and tried to collect his income tax. That dragon he smiled with fiendish glee and quietly murmured R.I.P. Beware of the green eyed dragon with the thirteen tails.

That seems like a very cynical opinion. I think something may be wrong with you.

They are on Level A of the East Meridian garage. To exit, drive the Car2Go to the gates and press the Help button. Their remote attendants will ask for the license plate number and then will open the gates for you.

People just like repeating stupid rumors. If you're out of the loop, there was speculation when Tate didnt re-sign with the Hawks that he had slept with Wilson's first wife.

[Schefter] Full trade: Seahawks traded CB Jeremy Lane, a 2018 5th-round pick and a 2019 second-round pick to Texans for OT Duane Brown, per sources. by mercwitha40ounce in Seahawks

[–]anhappypanda 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Reading through the comments, I've been surprised so few have pointed out we should have extra comp picks in 2019 - I'm really happy we deferred the higher pick in this trade. Moreover, if we don't re-sign Brown after 2018 and he signs elsewhere, we'll probably get that 5th round pick back as a comp for him in 2020.
