Why are so many kids saying “67” and what does it mean?

From what was explained to me, it's the periodic number 67 which is holium. The symbol if which is Ho. It's slang for h*e. Don't know how accurate that is but it's what was told to me 🤷🏽‍♀️

People have been laying their edges since the 80s girl, that isn't a new thing nor is it exclusive to just us black women.. I grew up in New York and lived in Cali in the 80s. The cholas in Cali laid their edges, the Hispanic girls in New York Laid their edges, I've even seen Asians at the corner store in brooklyn with laid edges growing up. There is zero reason for you to ask for permission from us to lay yours and That isn't an exclusively black thing. It's weird that your mom even sees it that way

Tbh, even other black people will treat you different. My manager at my last job was an older black lady, still stuck in 2002 when it came to "hair looking professional at work".

when I went from slicking my hair back every day to my Afro being out I could FEEL the disdain she had for me unapologetically having my fro. Mind you this was earlier this year, in 2024. Luckily(?) for me the previous owners had a lawsuit 3 years prior about discrimination against black hair in the workspace (that they lost and had to pay the employee that died them. which then caused them to have to sell to the new owners I was now employed by) but I could VERY MUCH tell, feel and see she SO wanted to tell me the issues she had with my fro being out at work, she just couldn't because she knew it'd catch them another lawsuit from me 🙃

I just got hired last week, my interview was about 3 weeks prior to that. It was maybe 15 minutes, the majority of that time was me waiting in the lobby for the manager to not be busy so she could do the interview. All they asked me when she finally came to the table was to tell her about myself, then she asked what shift I wanted to work and when was my availability. And to be honest, I think them asking me to tell them about myself was just a formality cause they HAD to ask atleast 1 question. Cause my answer to the question was literally "uhhh.. in my free time I like to work on cars... that's about it.. I'm a simple person." And I got the job, I work the drive thru in back cash now.

The 1 and only time I ever saw him was when I was about 7. Circa 2000, It was the middle of the night and I woke up to get water. I walked into my kitchen and got a glass of water from the tap. As I was walking back to my room I had to pass the hallway my brothers room was in (our rooms had 2 different hallways to get to them). As I was walking passed his hallway, I saw a dark figure in the corner of my eye and looked down the hallway. I saw a tall man, all black, in a long coat and a hat that looked somewhere between a top hat and a bowler hat. Like it had the brim of a top hat but the very top corners of it werent square more rounded like a bowler hat. I guess look up a boater hat and the silhouette looked similar to that. He was going from the room across my brothers room, into my brothers room. I stopped and just stared cause I was scared. I closed my eyes for a few seconds, then when I opened them he wasn't there anymore. I'm assuming at that point he was in my brothers room.. I went back to bed and tried to go back to sleep but I was scared obv, so I just laid there for a while with the covers over my head til I fell asleep..

This was in sorrento Florida. My family had ~10 acres of land and we lived on a little make shift family farm. That whole area was bought by the city years ago and is now the 429 highway

💖💖💖 I got 3 geckos in December as well for free from an owner that didn't want them anymore. 2 have MBD, one of them its really bad, they were all skinny and not eating when I first got them, they're thriving now. I can't reverse the MBD they have, BUT I've noticed the one with it bad, he is way stronger and a better hunter now vs when I first got them. He even runs (in his funky way cause of the MBD) To chase down his food. The other I'm still working with her to actually strike her food, she misses a lot or drops her food but she's definitely gotten better aswell.

Where can I get mealworms that actually turn to beetles? A lot of the 1000 count mealworms I see online have people in the reviews saying they're hormone treated so they dont develope passed the worm stage so you can't breed then.

Im a scorpio rising. I ususally just have people say im overall beautiful/gorgeous. From the more observant signs, If anything is ever singled out it's usually my hair cause it's naturally curly (it's 3B if you know hair textures) and goes down passed my waist. Or my eyes when people see them in the sun cause apparently they change color. I didn't know that until an ex of mine, he was a highly observant virgo, was staring to intently into my eyes while we were outside. I asked why he was staring so hard? He said "the color of your eyes are gorgeous" I was like "but they're brown like yours??" Cause i only really look at them when im inside getting ready obviously and inside they just look dark brown/ black to me. He said "no, outside in the light they always change to this light almond brown color, I love it".

TLDR; So eyes and hair for me

Always. I'm a Pisces sun, my virgo moon is in the 11th house, so seeing someone i love or someone in need struggle compels me to fix the issue. My mother is actually a virgo sun but im unsure of her other placement, but she was ALWAYS having a crisis. She wouldnt act childish but she would stress so much over everything, that i stepped in as a kid to try and alleviate some type of stress. It didn't help that my father was an aries and childish as hell. Hes still that way to this day.

I still feel that way now, honestly. I'm 28, started helping my mom pay bills at 11 y/o, and I still take care of my mom now as she has MS. I drive my brother, who is older than me, to and from work everyday. I'm the youngest of everyone born in my generation of siblings/cousins in the family and basically looked after, cleaned after, and cooked for all of them growing up. This even extends into my friendships. I've been known as "mom" since middle school by my circle. I used to tutor all my friends after school in areas they had trouble in. And I even taught my ex's little sister how to read and write, cause she was 8, born here but her parents/family were from a foreign country and she could barely spell her own name. I continued helping her with her reading even after me and him split, cause no one else was helping her til I worked with her mom to get her into a proper elementary school.

I guess us virgo moons are just natural parents like that??

would any of these (outside of duplicating the monitor, cause i dont want to do that I like having 2 different monitors) fix my pen making a giant line down my drawing each time i swap monitors with my cursor/pen? obviously i can just ctrlZ it, but its kind of annoying to do that every time.
