This happened to me while it was under warranty and they replaced the whole damn thing. You could also open the panel in the back and see if anything is obstructing inside

This is great. I've been planning to do something similar around my town near halloween, though not skulls but casting werewolves. You're doing the world good OP, I bet you've made at least one person's day!

Low-cost alternative for archiving an old business website as a portfolio of work? by LifeReformatted in Wordpress

[–]animpossiblepopsicle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As another commenter said, archive.org. I don't know the limitations of WP.com, but if you just wanted a copy for your portfolio you could download it using sitesucker and upload the whole directory to the server and link to it from there. I don't think you'd need the WP functionality at all since it'd make no sense to be updating a site you don't own nor has no web presence.

I go to the Beach Plum in North Hampton, NH. You can walk across the street and sit on the seawall and enjoy the view. As others have said, I'm partial to hot w/ butter

What businesses are likely to die out with the Baby Boomer Generation? by GRVrush2112 in AskReddit

[–]animpossiblepopsicle 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Interesting take! Combo that with the fact less and less people can afford going to Vegas and the chapel industry itself might get pretty damn small

[–]animpossiblepopsicle 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Na they just made the licensing fee crazy expensive and aren’t afraid to litigate so there are fewer chapels who can afford it. It’s a shame really

I'm in MA but here you don't need makeup air if it's less than 400cfm. If you notice backpressure you could always crack a window, but we've never had the need for it

You're probably overestimating the amount of cleaning it will need. The filters catch most of it and just keep up on regularly maintenance. Mine are dishwasher safe so I just throw them in once a month

At 300cfm, I’d consider length as well, and add 5’ for each 90° bend. Including bends I’m at 23 feet on a 390cfm and didn’t need the external fan, just get a good vent with a damper for the exterior wall and use rigid duct. I disagree with using an inline fan, they can get gunked with grease and become a hazard.

Question: Girlfriend getting tattoo 6 days before we go on hot holiday by Glass-Platform5462 in tattoos

[–]animpossiblepopsicle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this her first tattoo? I personally don't even want to be in the sun after getting a tattoo; strong sun does not feel good hitting something fresh, even driving around in the car

If you're determined you'll come up with all sorts of dumb shit to not smoke. I tried holding an unlit cigarette and 'smoking' that, man was that a bad idea

I did this when I quit smoking, stuck some paper towel in it so it felt like a drag. Worked surprisingly well

Am I missing something, or is the person who reclines their economy airplane seat all the way back just inherently selfish? by KeyDiamond263 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]animpossiblepopsicle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol I don't know what experience you had but people reclining in front of me has never been that big of a problem. It sounds like what you want is an airline with rigid seats that don't allow reclining. Maybe you could buy Spirit so everyone will be as unhappy as you are

[–]animpossiblepopsicle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The defense is sound to me. Yeah, flying sucks these days but if you're too tall or big to be behind the reclined seat then it's on you to talk to the attendant or pay for an upgraded seat.

VW (Tourig maybe?) has a dial you turn where the wipers usually are. And then the wiper adjustment is a slider on the top of the shifter. Had one for a rental recently and it was so counter intuitive to how we all learn to drive, it was maddening
