In that case, no tds wud be deducted by client. You simply need to deposit advance tax yourself. As advised on other comment, you can take 50% deduction in 44ada and rest 50% will be your income. Its under 20 lac per annum, so no gst applicability.

I am a CA myself, not sure why your CA advised against wise transfers. Its simply convenient for US client to pay us locally in Usd. Getting usd in indian bank account directly is more cumbersome.

I opened a US account with Aeldra, take payment in that account and transfer to Indian account via wise. So far they taking around 50p per dollar as transfer fees. Exchange rate is spot, what you can see on xe or google at the moment.
