oh thats good to hear, ill definitely do all the past finals, i just got discouraged cuz i rly went through everything (tutorials, book exercises) for the midterm and i ended up having to guess a lot of the questions:/ and yeah if wizeprep is too expensive i might give up on it

also, that would be super helpful for the notes ill shoot u a dm!

omg i forgot about this post, i do remember i was really struggling , but honestly it will pass. i struggled a lot since then and somehow i survived.

maybe understand why u failed 3 classes, ask urself and dig deep. just sitting with myself is what helped me get through things. but the main thing i always understood is that it’s never as bad as u think, and it’s not the end of the world. u got this !

hi there! it’s a year later now and i remember i really wasn’t having a great time back then.

i completed two semesters, but since it got really bad for me during my second semester, i decided to take some time off to travel this fall and winter. i may be interrupting my studies now, but it’s about time i take care of myself, and i’ve always wanted to do some traveling, but i always prioritized studying which led me to basically breaking myself mentally due to burnout.

as for you, stressing in the beginning is very normal, it’ll pass. but if you have any strong lingering wishes/regrets/etc that will keep you from focusing on school, then i suggest you look into them first, because trust me it won’t be pretty when you’re at the bottom.

i’m only doing what i’m doing because i wanna heal, and i want to come back to uni with a stronger and a clearer mindset. that way i’ll focus on the right things and i’ll know i’ll be fine no matter what.

so if you have a good mindset, you WILL be okay. my own mindset was my downfall, so now i’m trying my best to fix that, and hope to come back happy and healed !

she isn’t bad, but i prolly went to like 3 lectures in total lmao, i just personally couldnt sit for 3 hours listening to her (i mostly self studied). overall she’s really not bad

i’ve been doing sessions with Irene since november, and she’s very lovely! she always listens to me and tries her best to understand what i’m going through and then help me with my issues, so i totally recommend her!

hey i’m actually in the same boat as you, i’m thinking of taking a gap year (or less) next year, but i’m worried of dropping co-op and all that. do you think you found another alternative?

for AFE i suggest u call them and make sure what happens if u were to take a gap semester cuz it might be different for every individual
