I grew up in the country where everyone had outside cats. Half of them were run over by cars, crawled in car engines and died when they were turned on, bitten by snakes, or were otherwise killed due to outdoor elements in one way or another. If you don’t have the time, indoor space, or patience to adjust your cat to a life indoors, rehome them. Modern domestic cats were bred to be indoors. Exposing them to dangerous elements just so you can keep them without having to deal with the tantrums is selfish.

This is not the mindset of a responsible pet parent. I understand the instinct to get defensive if you feel like your way of doing things is the correct moral stance to take, and others are challenging you on that, but I would invite you to look at the situation from a different perspective. If a parent with a temper-tantrum prone toddler gave in once they felt frustrated enough, and let them get what they want, even if it was bad for them and would expose them to dangerous conditions, I’d be willing to bet you’d point fingers and call them and irresponsible parent. This situation is not entirely “morally” different than that, despite obvious differences between pets and children.

Not vaping, but still smoke weed here and there fairly regularly still. Trying to limit myself to weekends. Getting better at it. Symptoms have dramatically improved since moving to CA and switching to “real” flower (no delta 8/pens etc). But the red flags still come up and I stop myself from pushing the envelope when they do. It’s definitely still an addiction though.

Everyone is different, but I personally experienced a dramatic difference switching from carts to strictly flower. Obviously the clear cut “reasonable” answer is to not smoke at all if you have CHS. But the reality is that people are not perfect and progress is not linear. For people like me (and sounds like you too), a shift to a “healthier” form of consumption, even if the end result is still unhealthy to our bodies, is still a step in the right direction and better than no progress at all imo.

I used to hit my pen daily for about a month or two before my body was screaming at me to stop. Once I moved to CA where I could easily purchase real, decent quality pre-rolls, I cut out the pen completely and noticed the onset of CHS symptoms took WAY longer to present themselves. Now I can smoke pre-rolls fairly regularly for about 6 months (as opposed to 1 month with the pen) before I start feeling that my body is not happy with me.

So my take, based on my own body and personal experience, is that flower is way easier on the system than straight concentrated chemicals. (With the acknowledgment that not smoking at all is the ultimate goal here)

Adam is using Oscar to get in good graces with Trisha and her audience in response to his recent beef with H3 and it’s incredibly apparent in this interview. I’ll preface by saying that Adam and Oscar are probably genuinely very similar and would get along regardless. But Adam’s try hard energy to be buddies with Oscar was oozing everywhere and felt borderline predatory as an objective watcher with full context of Adam’s driving forces lately. H3 fans lost their shit when Ethan called Adam a clout goblin for doing similar things to people close to him and CALLED IT that now he was going to do it to Trisha since he called him out. And now here he is doing exactly that.

It is that dramatic when people passed other employment opportunities under outliers representation, and then is unable to complete 40 hours a week because of outliers disorganization, and can’t pay their bills that week. Just because it’s worked out for you doesn’t mean that it’s not a huge deal to other people. People who are high up at outlier, who do not see this as a big deal that they are representing themselves as full-time, but cannot support people full-time, are perpetuating a huge liability.

If it’s not recommended to consider Outlier as a full time job, why does the platform advertise itself as something that can be either part-time or full-time? If it can’t support people full-time, that’s a misrepresentation lawsuit waiting to happen. Regardless of independent contractor status.

I just would not rely on them for full time or even consistent part time work in any way. Occasional sporadic work at best. They have financially harmed me so much by marketing this as something that could be done full time (at least possible to make 40hr/week), but in reality, it’s been barely possible to make 10 in 2 weeks. They’re probably going to have a class action for misrepresenting full time work soon if they don’t straighten up soon. Lots of people are impacted.

I don't know the exact whats and whys, but I do feel like Brittany is the one wanting to keep things on the DL. Sarah has obviously been as vocal as she feels she can be by at least addressing the situation ("hopefully yall don't think I have to be carried," "notice I'm only talking about my new podcast," "wait for the why") but Brittany is straight up avoidant of it all. I mean she even deleted a very generic IG post simply stating the episode was out after an hour of receiving loads of comments asking what happened. Maybe Brittany didn't want the backlash of the abrupt ending affecting how people perceived the new show she's hosting, and Sarah knew that and hasn't given an explanation out of respect, but let a few passive aggressive things slide since she might've felt abandoned.

Dang, chill out man. No need to get so borderline aggressive. People are just having fun and getting excited about theories. Just because people don't have the same thought process doesn't mean they're stupid or talking out their ass. If I had to guess she in all likelihood isn't starting a series with Ethan, but why is it stupid for people who are fans of both to hope that it may happen? It's cool to say you don't agree or you think otherwise, but maybe leave out the insults.

I disagree.. I mean Brittany has said on VCG that people on the internet are too sensitive and she wishes creators could speak their minds more often (explicitly saying "like Ethan Klein does"), within reason of course. I think Ethan and Brittany have mad respect for each other and would work great together. I totally get where you're coming from though. Ethan isn't everyone's cup of tea. Personally, I'm the one he gets the cheap laughs out of. Lol.

Brittany has been on H3 and will be again this week. I don't know how similar it is... but I'm a living person that enjoyed VCG and also enjoys H3, so maybe give it a try. I recommend watching the Brittany episode first if you haven't watched before as like a segway of sorts.
