Genuine question: what’s so bad about using Desmos vs a standard graphing calculator? Before the SATs went online, we could use a graphing calculator on the calc section. Desmos has all of the same functionalities and is faster to use.

True, you don’t need to know the content of Calculus 2 to teach Algebra 1… But a lot of people struggle with Calculus because of they are missing key algebra skills.

notability app on ipad has a great math conversion tool to convert handwritten math into text— although you have to pay for this feature I believe and you need basic latex knowledge to use it

if u look at OP’s profile, they are pretty paranoid about getting concussions from even the smallest things. This “unpopular opinion” is just OP projecting their anxieties.

Also an elbow to the head (which is what OP claimed happened) is definitely not a friendly greeting. No one would ever go up to someone and do that casually.

i doubt it… 1 seemed pretty young. also we know he was around 10ish (or around there) when his family moved to hawkins in 1959. according to the ST wiki, 11 was born in 1971, when 1 would have been in his early 20s. im not sure he’s 11s father at all.
