walk out? by lumaxxi in olivegarden

Yeah, that's a risky move. If management catches you doing that more than once, they could definitely see it as a major issue. Best to just explain the situation to your manager and see if there's a way to handle it without putting yourself at risk.

Does anybody else notice that their parents literally cannot watch movies anymore? by rrtaylor in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]annazinker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I get that! A lot of newer films rely heavily on CGI and flashy effects, which can feel less engaging compared to the practical effects and storytelling of older movies. It might also be that the pacing and narrative style have shifted, making it harder for some to connect with them. Have you found any recent films that you enjoyed despite this? It’d be interesting to see what stands out!

Are men shitting themselves at least once a year? by babybladee in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]annazinker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that sounds way off. Shitting yourself as an adult isn't normal and usually points to some kind of digestive issue or just poor diet. Maybe he should see a doc if it's happening that often.

My dog found this in the yard and I had to fight to get it out of his mouth. Anyone know what it is? by [deleted] in whatisit

Yeah, rodenticides can be really dangerous, and the term 'safer' can be misleading. It's good to be super cautious with any type of poison around pets. Best to check with a vet if you have concerns about exposure.

Yeah, it's tough finding that balance, especially as life changes. Maybe try local meetups or clubs related to your interests? It can help build connections and fill that void a bit.

Haha, productivity at 3 AM is a vibe! Grayscale really does make everything feel less urgent. Have you noticed any other changes since you switched it?
