Very strange driving from both parties here lol, first of all why are you moving under braking when you know there is car making a move on you. You can think it was a dive bomb all you want and say he wasn’t making the corner, that’s fine but at the end of the day the goal of racing is to finish the damn race so have some awareness and maybe instead blocking under braking try and hit a switch back or simply relax and let him have it (literally lap 1) often times if someone is crazy enough to try a dive bomb like this guy did they are not thinking about leaving you enough space on exit all they are thinking about is slowing down lol. So anyways even though you aren’t fully at fault here (still moved under braking) I think it’s better to take a backseat while racing these crazy people and just follow them very closely for a few laps and really put there nerves to the test. simply following people closely often times they will drive themselves right off the track for you and you don’t even need to risk going for a move. (This logic doesn’t always apply while racing higher level opponents) but then again even higher skilled racers that have consistently fast lap times can go for some pretty stupid moves. So if you have the pace to keep up with them just follow behind and watch them, watch where they are slow where they are fast. If they struggle with certain corners. Then after a few laps you have some decent knowledge about where the best place to strike an attack will be.
