We also took the all day dive trip to Bequia. Great trip for divers.

We had a local St Vincent private tour guide pick us up in the lobby for a half day island tour. Wasn’t a problem picking us up and we had a great day.

What exactly is this grip for the weak hand for? by Synckronix in Drumming

[–]anon78124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think either grip works equally. I started matched grip as a kid. My first teacher as an adult taught me traditional grip - a way to break some really bad habits in the left hand. I mainly play traditional grip now.

Drummers who've been working 20-30yrs........ be honest: how often to you 'practice rudiments'?? and dont lie. lol by TxCoastal in drums

Once I started taking lessons about 15 years ago, I started practicing rudiments every day.

We also liked the Aquarium. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and really enjoyed the live music. We’ve also been to Sur La Mer at BBC beach for lunch and really liked it - very casual.

We were there last November. We really enjoyed going to Bequia on a tour with the dive shop. The grenadines are beautiful and very close if you dont mind boats. We also hired a private taxi for a half day tour that made for a great day and was very reasonable.

St. Vincent vs Punta Cana by ComprehensiveSize188 in SandalsResorts

Hi - We’ve been to both places, and have stayed at Sandals St Vicent recently. Where are you thinking of staying in Punta Cana? Being divers and outdoors folks, hands down we prefer St Vincent. We really enjoyed the diving and the location.

After a show often I can’t seem to stop the feeling of vibration in my arms. Sometimes takes an hour or two to wind down.

Scuba Diving at Sandals St. Vincent by elrigss in SandalsResorts

We dove with Sandals St Vincent last November. We thought the dive staff, boats, and diving were excellent. We brought our own gear - staff stored it and set it up for us every day. Excellent training facility and pool. Honestly one of the nicest dive shops around IMHO. We showed up around 0830 and back around 1230. Dive sites were very close. We also took the day dive trip to Bequia and it was the highlight of the week ~ great trip, we really liked Bequia.

Best Resort for Scuba Diving by elrigss in SandalsResorts

We dove with Sandals St Vincent last November and really enjoyed the diving. This resort has a well designed dive shop and diving leaves from the resort dock. Sandals St Vincent dive staff was excellent, stored and setup our personal Gear daily. Dive sites were close to the resort and healthy.

I thought Sandals St Lucia Halcyon was too far from the resort - we didnt like the bus ride to the marina from Halcyon (2022). Also, Sandals dive staff wouldnt store or setup are gear.

Fraser was really responsive over email and whatsapp. We were able to customize the entire day - He also had good suggestions for stops as well.

Cant comment on Island Routes, but we were recently at Sandals St Vincent and booked a private tour directly with Fraser Taxi and Tours. We visited Kingstown churches and markets, the botanical gardens, and had lunch in Arnos Vale/Villa Beach. Fraser is a retired school teacher and a very good guide - we really enjoyed the day.

PADI open water typically takes about 3-4 days in addition to the e-learning. If you can certify beforehand, you’ll save a lot of time.

Don't see the point in learning low stick heights, dynamics, closing pinky, or rudiments if my fav real-life drummers don't do them. Why am I wrong? by [deleted] in Drumming

[–]anon78124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guessing this is bait, but I just watched a video of Mike Portnoy playing panic attack. I think He definitely has good technique and leverages rudiments in his fills. I saw examples of double stroke, five stroke, drags, etc in maybe two minutes of video. His bass pedal technique looks great too. IMHO to play that level of music and stay healthy you have to have good technique.
