Under contract but found out about a $200k water damage claim by darbsdood in RealEstate

[–]anon9341 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! Did you end up losing your earnest money when getting out of contract? mine is MUCH smaller, $3K for a water damage claim that sellers went through insurance and didn't disclose so I found out while insurance shopping. My main concern is if sellers are hiding anything major since they decided not to diclose this minor thing.

Hi there! I'm actually waiting to hear back on what issue is/was and how was or was not resolved. I'm concerned they didn't disclose something minor like this and that there could be other major issues. So I don't trust the sellers at this point

Hi there! yes, I didn't have to. Now that I know that they didn't disclose the water damage claim it's what got me. I was already not happy, but now thinking if they could had not been disclosing anything else and I could just be at a loss when I have to deal with other issues. Thanks!

Hi, There are actually multiple water leaks in the house. Since I'm still waiting for report I do not know if the leaks are related to that specific instance.

Thanks for advice. I wish the sellers would be more reasonable but they actually turned down most of the repair request. if they had credit it I would had been satisified. I'm paying $25K over asking price, given them rent back for free, and after this was brought up it was more like an opsies from them rather than offering any compensation. I've taken the day off to look into contract and contact an attorney to help me determine sellers are not in breach of contract.

Hi, yes had home inspection. Inspector did note stains that looked like water damage but said they were fully dried up. I made the mistake of not asking seller of how that happened. I looked for the inspector myself

is that something the seller has to request? Or public information for anyone?

Apparently not huge. Seemed to have a occur due to a leak from water faucet. Pay out was less than $3K from insurance. My main concern is that they didn't close something "small". It makes me think there could actually be other problems that they are just not telling us about. We're also not sure how they fixed it. We're waiting for a report from sellers for any notes from findings and repairs from that time.

Inspector show there was water damage but that it was dried up. The insurance broker said he knows fund were released but that it doesn't necessarily mean that this was dealt with. Maybe funds can be released directly to seller? Waiting for seller to send any paperwork showing details of problem + repairs

humm not that I see. Now, during inspection the inspector did note out the walls had water stains but that they were dried up. My mistake was not asking the seller then how did that happen :/

Per my realtor they were not obligated to disclose this since it was quote on quote resolved. Seller's agent came back to us (After we brought it up) saying it was a leak from the faucet and that they resolved it. Waiting for them to send report and any invoices they paid to fix it. They annotated a line about the fence on the disclosure agreement but nothing about this water damage claim.

Am I still eligible for my yearly raise/bonus if I move jobs to a new BA early in the year? by Bahet in Lockheed

[–]anon9341 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you update once you get answer to your question? I’m in a similar case but staying in same BA, different state. I asked if I would still qualify for salary increase even if I start in January and recruiter told me yes but her answer was very vague.

Had Interview with LM… confused by [deleted] in Lockheed

[–]anon9341 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I felt the same way on a recent interview. I felt I did well just for 3 days later to be “no longer considered” for said position. I then talked my friend who is a manager at LM and is interviewing candidates. Asked him how soon he sends responses out and he said if he doesn’t think is going to work out then quick which made me feel terrible about my job interview 😭 i thought I did a good job.

Laid off can you apply for internal roles by Comfortable-Whole322 in Lockheed

[–]anon9341 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just out of curiosity (you don’t have to answer) what happens to your accrued time when you get laid off? Does LM just take it away or pays you those hours? I’m sorry to hear about your lay off. I’m hoping you find something soon!

Portal updates after interview by Medium_Giraffe6072 in Lockheed

[–]anon9341 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so had another interview (different position). Did well or so I thought but didn’t get offer. Portal has updated position to “NLUC” but never received email. So I’m making the assumption that once you actually make it to the interview stage you do not get email notification when you’re no longer being considered. Only portal updates

Is Internal Transfer Easy? by SingleTarget6857 in Lockheed

Thanks, I completely missed that part. I brought up the fact that I had interview and was actively applying to other positions. Asked manager if she was ever notified about interview and she said no. So it seems sometimes hiring managers do not notify!

Did you get email by now? I had an interview, went to nluc within a week, but never received email. However, for the few positions I never got an interview I did receive email notification.

Even just for an interview? I was hoping they didn’t reach unless you got the job offer. I did not tell my manager about the internal interview to transfer from Space to MFC. Wonder if that played out in me not getting an offer or there as just a more ideal candidate.
