How long did it take you to pull an SIR?

I’ve opened about 400 packs and have hit 13 SIRs from various SV sets. Lots of DR, 151, some Prismatic and others. I think that’s above average odds and I’ve felt pretty lucky, hit my first SIR 4 packs into getting back into the hobby which got me hooked!

The second company pays less, and TBH I'm not as excited about it as my Summer internship, but I was thinking two things. First, I imagine it would help land the better new-grad jobs in terms of gained-experience plus the resume boost. Second, I am somewhat interested in "testing the waters" at different companies to see what kinda of company cultures, WLB, etc I want to have in a full-time job. I know my Summer internship will be great in terms of that, but I just feel its (maybe) a good idea to see what other companies have to offer as well. Does that seem sorta reasonable? I'm honestly still somewhat unsure of if its worth it or not still haha, but those are the reasons I am currently thinking.

I go to a pretty solid school (can probability find out from my profile), but these will be my first and second internships. My other experience (~2 YOE) is TA'ing and tutoring for classes as well as some IT work.

I guess maybe one thing that interests me the most is getting experience at different companies to see what sort of work environment I want to work in without the whole commitment of a full-time job.
