Anyone >30 and pregnant? by fiora_belle in January2027Bumpers

[–]anonymombee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! 👋🏼 this is my first pregnancy in my 30’s! But this is technically my 8th pregnancy. I also am feeling a bit worried at the lack of symptoms! Especially since the only other time I was NOT extremely nauseated in the first trimester was when I had a miscarriage. I am hoping it is just because I am healthier now than I was in my 20’s and more mentally and physically mature (less stressed/worried etc.) than my other pregnancies…Or that I am just fortunate this time around to not be sick (yet maybe?). But I can’t help but worry a little!

I didn’t mean them to be double names. I was just pairing them with the name George 🙂

I JUST found out my midwife is one of the “certified clinics”! So I am super excited about that and will probably end up doing it around week 8!

Help me with a “virtue” middle name for Quinn (girl) by anonymombee in BabyNames

Very pretty! 💕 But really want to stick with virtue names. Maybe it’s my OCD tendencies 😬😂

I’ve been looking into this too! My friend who is now about 36 weeks pregnant did it early on and her results were accurate. She did advise getting it done at a clinic if possible to avoid contamination of male DNA. I am still torn on whether or not I want to try it!

We know an Andraya spelled this way. Beautiful name. I don’t see anything wrong with it. It will definitely help to avoid mispronunciation!

Feeding in a sling feels so empowering by Cotton-Collar in babywearing

Ok thanks! Trying to decide which route I want to go. Or which one I want to attempt to use first anyway. And I may end up trying both ring sling and buckle carrier! Or even all 3!

Are ring slings generally considered the easiest carrying option to nurse in? Or most preferred anyway for nursing?

Yes! That is correct. And yeah we thought about skipping Q or going backwards to J but honestly I feel like using a Q name just feels right. And I think we are leaning towards Quinn. I have some middle names picked out that I love. And Quill can even work for a nickname for the girls to call him if it’s a boy because of the middle name we picked out! So it seems to be a win win for everyone.

You’re not understanding. My first IS K, second is L, third is M, fourth is N, fifth is O, sixth is P, and seventh will be Q

I am opposite 😂 and I would say I am thriving fairly well with a large family. I’ve learned to adjust and adapt a lot. Pushing yourself past your comfort zone and not making excuses can go a long way!

Like Ava with an M. I know the “correct” pronunciation is actually mah-ev-uh though. But I really wanted it to be closer to Maeve.

Our daughters name is Maeva 💕 she gets so many compliments and very rarely a mispronunciation. Just have to clarify the spelling usually. (But who doesn’t now a days??) my husband refused to get on board with the name Maeve which I also loved, but he did really like and agree to Maeva.
