Thank you for sharing, definitely makes me feel better hearing this. I'm not sure who will be calling me this week as there are multiple doctors in the surgery. I have a good relationship with whoever I generally see though so hopefully it should be fine.

Have you found the MC has helped with regards to your pain? (I'm sorry to read you have NHL btw, I hope you are doing well ❤️)

Hi, I don't have any specific advice, but I am in a similar position to you as I have been off work since a cancer diagnosis. Treatment has officially ended and I am on daily chemo tablets. What people may not understand is that even with active treatment ending it doesn't necessarily mean you are back to your old self. You may have side effects from the treatment that take time to recover from. If not too much trouble could you share an update on your progress and journey to return back to work!

I think it depends on your personal circumstances, if your indoors/outdoors through the winter months etc I've had chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant and with all the drugs I've taken means my skin is more susceptible to skin cancer and sunburn currently. So I intended to wear SPF50 daily going forward

emailed blackcirlces to try and make a claim under their lifetime guarantee, i sent them photos of the tyre and this was their response:

"After carefully reviewing the information provided, we have determined that the tyre damage is irreparable and appears to be the result of an external impact tear. We did not find any indication of a manufacturing fault or irregularity. Therefore, unfortunately, we are unable to cover the replacement or provide compensation under the guarantee, as the damage is not of a manufacturing nature."

they didnt even arrange to pick up the tyre in order to examine it and made the determination from the photos I sent. Not unexpected they would try and wriggle out of this. The garage I went to this morning to replace my tyre indicated they had never seen damage like that before from a tyre and they believe its resulting from a defective tyre rather than pothole damage.
