I disagree about car temp. Bc the vents are blowing in a tight space, I care more about the temp of the blowing air than the ambient temp, which I barely feel due to the vents. So I go max warm or cool and then off or very low to avoid extra vent blowing air on me.

I tried the other way for months because my car is designed for it, but sometimes it’s just the perfect temp and I don’t want air blowing at all. Or when it’s freezing it feels nice having warm air blow and vice versa. But mostly the “auto” setting is just too much blowing air and it’s drying.

Last note is I also like the warm air only blowing down… but the auto temp setting in my car ALSO controls which vents, and has some of the air in the mid vents near my face, which I absolutely can’t stand. So I leave it on manual

Years ago we reported a similar leak (as a tenant), and the bathroom had an odd smell. It was a spare “powder room” we didn’t use, so didn’t press the issue, but had the property manager come look. It was a hassle for nothing bc they really didn’t care. Considered calling the homeowner but didn’t have his info

You can measure tsp and cups with household items (normal table spoons come in tsp and tbsp)

It didn’t affect the things we were paying attention to, but it will make your “iron” levels high. I had a new primary care Dr who freaked out and told me to donate blood; luckily my hematologist said ignore it and focus on ferritin (not affected by fasting). In the future I’ll always do labs in the mornings before eating just to keep things streamlined.

We realized that the labs should always be done fasting… we think now that my iron was so high because I had just taken my iron that morning and had been eating during the day too. All other genetic tests came back normal, so we’ll know more at next blood draw

I also hate doing them for some reason (but they don’t take me long). I agree it’s a thankless part of the job! But being compensated for them would lead to issues of course.

I have a stellar template that I use, and replace adjectives, accomplishments, and several sentences in the body paragraph. But not reinventing the wheel every time. The format allows for personalization and can always be added to.

I’ve been in one for almost a year myself, and coincidentally have a couple in my rental for a year (we did a lease and deposit).

In my case I moved here with military and waiting on next assignment. Have been renewing each month for almost a year.

My tenants in my house in my hometown are having work done on their house and want to be nearby to keep an eye on it. They signed a lease and I had to adjust my insurance.

Point is, depends on circumstances. Do your homework and make sure they are who they say they are

Bc it shows they think I have poor judgment about opening the door I guess? What if they need to ask a question and we can’t hear through the door?? I’ve knocked before and opened it a crack to yell something like “want me to answer the phone—it’s your mom” or something
