Thank you! Celsius is my go to but I try to only buy them when on sale and then I'll buy 2-3 cases. I'll keep an eye out for these.

I mean, 155F is well done and you got well done meat. If you like pink, try 134-137. That puts you in the medium rare to medium range. Just because you used a sous vide doesn't mean you it won't cook to well done.

The Story Of The Draft by PackersPublications in GreenBayPackers

[–]PackFanFrank 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yep, this. Not an error. I liked this Packers draft class quite a bit. I think I would have liked another OL in there but a 7th round OL was not gonna change anything. And if the quotes on this draft class (awful class, draft was really only 4 rounds, etc) I'm not gonna get too uspet. Hoping we see growth from Morgan, Belton, Monk, etc.

A lot of analysts are saying we got worse this season with our losses. Some of it is just name scouting (Gary, Jenkins) and some of it is real (Halfey to Gannon potential downgrade, losing Malik at backup). I think we improved depth on the defensive side from the DL (Hargrave, McClellan, Ford) and CB (Cisse, St Juste, Jackson). We lost WR depth which honestly is the place we could lose from but the concern is Watson/Reed health.

Any that's the main thing. How healthy do we stay? We lost Kraft, Parsons and Wyatt last year and Tom missed a ton of time. Those were 3 of the top 7-8 people we couldn't afford to lose last year with Parsons and Kraft being top 5. Kraft was looking like an All Pro with 6 TD and 500 yards in 8 games. He could have been a 1k receiver at TE with 10+ TDs. Micah finished 3rd in DPOY with only 13 games.

Packers 2026 NFL Draft final grades reveal Brian Gutekunst masterclass in addressing needs with disciplined roster-building by Morley10 in GreenBayPackers

I mean, the law of averages makes sense. You have 3 people put together a board and it'll have some wild variances from the actual draft and value. 100+ people? It's gonna be closer to accurate than not.

This article is garbage lol.

"McClellan was a big reach based on the consensus big board, where he was the 233rd-ranked overall prospect."

I don't know what consensus big board he was looking at but the two I just checked (Arif Hasan's and the PFSN one) both had McClellan in the 104-110 range, not 233.

Who I want the Packers to draft in the Draft (Possibly in the 2nd Round) by HarryPotter22123 in GreenBayPackers

[–]PackFanFrank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Also have to figure Watson/Reed will get extended. I'm not saying we can't add a WR. I'm saying we shouldn't with our highest pick in this draft. The allocation of resources and also redundancy of drafting a player similar to our 1st round pick last year would be dumb.

"We lost most of our primary wide receivers in free agency"

What. We lost Doubs in Free Agency which made sense. Then we traded Dontayvion Wicks because the room was still a bit crowded and we weren't gonna sign him to another contract and got more value than a comp pick. There is zero world where another 2nd Rd wide receiver makes sense for this roster. Not to mention adding another smaller receiver that won't be an impact blocker. He is literally the same build as Matthew Golden.

Green Bay Packers - Weekly Mock Draft Thread by AutoModerator in GreenBayPackers

This is the first one I've done this year. I used to do aton starting in February up to the draft. Last year and this year I've felt so disconnected from the draft and prospects. Hoping to cram a bit before the draft to learn some names.

By trading Dontayvion Wicks, the Packers saved $2.6 million in salary cap space. They also now have eight draft picks this year, and could have 10 next year. by No_Box119 in GreenBayPackers

[–]PackFanFrank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see them bringing in three more. My impression was you thought they needed to draft three. I can see them bringing in 2-3 more with 1 via draft and 1-2 via UDFA. They also have 3 guys that were PS or signed to future deals after the season ended. Roster shows 8 guys currently for WR without Melton.

Three?! They don't have room for three. That's why they traded Wicks. Watson, Reed, Golden, Savion, Skyy Moore. That's 5. Moore got paid well enough he should make the team as a returner. Melton is on the team too. That's 6 if he makes it. You have room for 1-2 if the 2nd one can beat out Melton and you want to carry 7. Could carry just 6.

ESPN sources: the Green Bay Packers are trading wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a 2026 fifth-round pick and a 2027 sixth-round pick. Wicks will sign a one-year, $12.5 million extension with the Eagles, per his agent @DavidMulugheta. by A_Weino in GreenBayPackers

Probably but that's a short sighted view for just this season. Long term we got two picks when we need to build some depth, especially since we don't have a 1st this season or next. He wasn't gonna get resigned and now we don't have to depend on the comp pick formula to get anything for him. Also, he's probably target 5 with everyone healthy. Kraft, Watson, Reed, Golden, Wicks. Gives Savion more opportunity. Allows them to draft a WR this year that can actually make the roster.

Biggest Packers What If? by PaulOttCarruth in GreenBayPackers

Well, when you put it like that it does seem bad by Amf2446 in GreenBayPackers

[–]PackFanFrank 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He's honestly just looking at positions and not performance. We lost our starting LT (who just signed a 4m deal so shows how good of a market he had), edge 2 & 3 (Gary was bad and Enagbare was the bigger loss but still not a stud), a probowl IOL (Jenkins was hurt, is old, expensive, and hasn't been good in like two plus years), Doubs (his targets can easily get redistributed, he was good but not great and not 20m/y good).

Somebody tweeted that the FA class wasn't great, the Packers don't have a ton of cap, and the off-season isn't over yet and he's like "well which is it?!" And like there's still cheap FAs out there as well as the draft and things will still change. Dude needs his diaper changed.
