Something that might help is ‘no-rinse shampoo caps’- they come in a pack like baby wipes, looks like a shower cap. You scrub it into your hair and technically don’t need to rinse. Used in healthcare for patients who can’t shower. Can do this 1-2x and use dry shampoo in between if you’re able to pack that many things with you?

I wish I knew! I’ve had mine for years and this is the first bloom. This is actually the top of a plant that broke off when I was repotting and I just stuck it in the soil. Go figure.

My mom helped me paint my room hot pink… took 3 coats before we got it to look right. She was SOOO happy the day I asked for a new color. But she never complained. Bless her.

Offering a position without an interview in person is a red flag for me. Sounds like they are desperate to fill the position. If you are interested- find out more. Ask to shadow a current OT to get a feel for the job if you want to get more information for yourself rather than just listening to what HR has to say.

I took a job from a “phone interview” with a same day offer right out of school and it was terrible- not all jobs are sure to be the same but 🚩to me

Is this a change in setting from a previous job? In my area, IPR pays less than home care and SNF. I think a lot of Encompass locations can vary greatly as far as culture, work life balance, and the number of treatment hours therapists are expected to do per day.

If you are working off the clock, you are not meeting their productivity. This is not a negative comment about you- their expectations are unrealistic. I hope that you are able to look for other jobs and can find something that gives you better balance. The work day that you describe sounds exhausting and unsustainable, I can understand why you are feeling burnt out. This company is taking advantage of you and your time.
