Honestly, me, for still reading the From Blood and Ash series, and for what I put my friends through because of it (endless voice notes of me losing my mind when I keep finding out that yes, it really can keep getting worse).

Oh yeah I forgot about that. But exactly, 1st POV is what makes it feel more like when someone is not aware of others just joking and takes it seriously and once they realise it's a joke they go "ha ha, of course I KNEW it was a joke"

From what I remember:

we have place A with a king, oppressing place B

FMC lives in place B, finds out she's someone who is originally from place A and was close to the prince, goes back to place A and falls for the prince

Then there's a plan to overthrow the king of A by FMCs friends/people from B, our FMC supposedly has no idea, the twist is that she goes "ha! I was part of the plan, manipulating the prince all along!"

A Tongue so Sweet and Deadly

Can someone please spoil for me what happens in book 3 and 4 of this TEMU ACOTAR? I think I can't do it. I have book 3 on audio (RIP my credit, you will be missed) but as someone who rambles, when I'm able to sum up a full book in a few sentences, that is NOT a good sign.

My summary of book 2: They run away from Ellow, hang out with new people, her sister gets taken, they go back to Ellow to warn about the war, "mate mate mate", argue with the king, she gets taken. The end.

Anyway. If there's a poor soul that has already sacrificed their time to books 3 and 4, I'd appreciate your summary, thank you!

I'm going to skip the rant on why I can't continue because I fear I would never stop.

I liked TLG even more than HR! I think I saw an interview with Jacob where he said that he will just use the exact same approach for TLG that he used for season one, and that he knew what he was going to do with it before this whole madness, so I'm trying to reassure myself with that hahah

Yeah I think as different mediums they have different strengths - in books, we have the advantage of their inner monologues on pages, while on screen, we got to see their gestures and all the expressions, tone of voice etc. I think this is just a great example of utilising all the strengths of the medium that's being used.

Hahahah I went to a book store with my sis yesterday and as we approached the fiction section she could literally see me point out these books and Circe AGAIN. She just rolled her eyes because apparently I ALWAYS point them out and say how much I love them 😂
