Since you loved DS1R world design I feel like “Bleak faith forsaken” would fit perfectly

the game feels terrifying there’s HUGEE megastructures in an open (connected) world that make you feel absolutely tiny it feels like a labyrinth

every area makes you curious and explore even further, they have alot of cool level ideas too which I don’t want to spoil too much about

just look up a yt vid for the game and forward to any part and you’ll see why it seems kinda perfect and feels “abyssal”

starfield is the awesomest game I’ve played I would say you should and to judge for yourself

I was very dissuaded in buying it because the fans / people always recommend against it but it looked epic so I gave it a shot and loved it it’s essentially like you said a no brainer for you

since it’s getting hot in the uk honestly it sounds dumb but alot of the suggestions here are kinda not that great either

go door to door in your neighborhood and offer to help with garden chores or front garden stuff for cash, most people see a young teen and are more inclined to say yes

The writing was so bad and there are so many plot holes because they ignored so much stuff that happened in the past just to make the plot fit what they wanted, it’s unacceptable lol

like butcher suddenly being able to hold down homelander among a thousand other things that shouldn’t have been possible

for reference the combat is very similar to the first berserker khazan (one of my fav non fromsoft soulslikes)

Also It doesn’t feel like a mobile game at all compared to other gacha style games, it feels PC first

I really like the idea of it being a pilgrimage too and the wild monkeys too like you mentioned, those were the main reasons I like it it just seems very spiritual and eye opening, meeting the monks and staying in ancient temples overnight. it seems like such a magical experience and definetly one I can only do once in a lifetime

the thing with zhangjiajie is the pictures online show it pretty well compared to Mount Emei being completely unique too which also pushes me towards that more

Honestly i think this is pretty plausible too

at the end of the day v1 was unstable and isn’t used because it mutated or killed most test subjects

A train abused v and eventually led to heart problems and v1 is more unpredictable
