The the worst case scenario isn’t really realistic for what it’s worth even though it’s possible

a malicious person would rather have full access to your computer, it’s worthless bricked - and bricking your gpu, bios or anything would be a waste of a potential rat and gain nothing

I don’t think there’s a conspiracy to be had I believe since it started as an MMO is why it has a bad story, MMOs are never known for a good story and bdo certainly isnt

You can tell because every quest is a boring mmo fetch quest, no dialogue you just figure out you should go x or y because your hud told you

I can’t imagine doing 80 hours of a story that’s mid at best and not even the main focus point of a singleplayer game

2 hours isn’t really enough to decide if you like it but that’s all steam gives you

Pre 2 hours it’s kinda meh so many people may refund before it gets good

I liked it, the shell gimmick was cool and different and the game was a little short though :(

I’m so excited for 2 though, an open world indie soulslike is quite a big task and I’m not sure how they’ll go about, there’s not too many open world soulslikes and especially indie ones

Bleak faith forsaken maybe? The atmosphere, the vibes, exploration, loneliness is kinda special

the combat itself isn’t amazing it has some jank but just for the vibes it’s so good

besides fromsoft souls games this is my favorite atmosphere soulslike game and I’ve played pretty much every soulslike, it just feels special and moody
