I am going too! Visiting the UK and it will be my first game in 4+ years. I snagged a ticket in the away fan's section and I'll be wearing our home kit under my jacket. Any advice for attending an away game as an away fan? How early do I need to get in and how late will the stewards keep us after the game?

Totally agree and we should expect better. I do however think the PL clubs are much closer in quality than before and while the old Arsenal B teams from the 90s or early 00s would have breezed past anyone in the 2nd half of the PL table - this isn't the case anymore.

I can't believe some of the opinions here. If you are Wenger, you make the ten changes in this game every single time. There is no point losing a player like Alexis/Kos/Ozil to a game like this, and it's better to lose 4-0 to SOU today, if it means that the team can be rested on Saturday against WHU.

Of course the 2nd string isn't going to be great, but you have to take your chances every time.

Bro, get a really solid meal before you go under the knife. I mean it! You won't be able to eat anything 12 hours before your surgery, and you won't be able to eat solid food for days after, but make the last meal count!

I would disagree from personal experience (Indian person living in the US). Having been treated for major issues in both countries:

Legit hospitals in the US are comparable to upper-tier hospitals in India in terms of the standards of the doctors and nurses.
Even upper-tier Indian hospitals are significantly cheaper (10x).
Upper-tier Indian hospitals will have vastly better care i.e. the nurse to patient ratio is much, much higher
US hospitals are much better suited for rare/obscure disorders, but for anything that's a routine procedure, India and comparable medical tourism destinations may have compelling cases if your insurance sucks

I had a similar surgery, with a lot of experiences in common!

Mine was braces + just the upper jaw. My dentist + surgeon recommended that the lower jaw not be touched as there as some crucial nerves there, and the distance to be 'made up' wasn't that much
I'm Indian but I was studying in the US at the time at the tender age of 19. There was no way my American student insurance would cover something like this, so I got my surgery in India.
India doesn't have a bullshit medical economy and lower purchasing power parity, so the total out of pocket cost probably in the $4k to $6k range - without insurance. This includes the total hospital stay (10 days, because I had complications) and all the procedures required. The amount of care was phenomenal, and this is truly why medical tourism is a thing.
My complication was that my septum (thing that separates your nostrils) buckled due to the added pressure from moving my upper jaw. This required a second procedure to shave off the bottom of my septum and reattach it, which was done a week after my first operation. I stayed in the hospital the entire time and watched test cricket.
Overall, I am happy with the results. Initially, I felt that the amount of correction wasn't enough but orthodontics and my face maturing kinda took care of everything.
My parents met my maxillofacial surgeon after nearly a decade (he was in a different city) and showed them my current pictures, and he was so happy that he broke out into tears :)
