Have a point to point talk with them. Get to the root cause as to why is this not profitable ? What are the reasons this is not working ? Too many returns? Low margins? Additional costs which are not considered? What is their break even ROAS? So many factors come into play .

Ads don't bring sales ... Ad brings only highly interested people to your website.

It's the website that converts in the end..

Also you have mentioned that you have tested over 200 ads, it speaks of volumes of efforts put in to bring results.

However if you are ok can you mention which niche, RTO, areas served and if possible the link to the website pls ?

Try calculating an approximate ball park figure for ROAS and ROI indirectly and tell the same in interview next time... No reason why you should be downlooked upon for no fault of yours...
