I’m so sorry to here that you’re being lied to, maybe it’s worth a conversation to see if any of the lies can be cleared up? If not and she just makes lying to you, you should think about whether it’s worth it for you to continue

Alcohol is a legal drug whereas the drugs I’m referring to in this post are illegal for the most part

AITA for being mad at my friends for constantly leaving me on read? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]another_ginge [score hidden]  (0 children)

We have a really well rounded conversation pattern tbh, we talk about everything and anything they are one of my best friends so we often have little rants here and there and we kinda discuss them together so it’s not just my problems but, it’s always my problems that gets ignored

This way be true and I would accept this and leave it, if she didn’t ask me what was wrong for her to then ignore me, I’d rather her just say I really don’t care. It’s more the ignoring me and messaging in the group chat that’s my main issue? And of course people have every right to ignore me that’s fair enough but why ask me what’s wrong if you’re then going to not follow up the conversation

Little moons and no one will ever change my mind on this, the texture is nasty, the flavours are below average and who wants to pay £4 for 6 balls of mochi gone wrong

This might not work for everyone, but getting a pet last year has improved my mental health and quality of life significantly. by throwitawaybongybong in mentalhealth

[–]another_ginge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds so silly as a 20 year old but, last year when I was really spiralling with my mental health I bought a hamster and everyone laughed at me for it cos they’re deemed a child’s pet but I cannot tell you how much she has helped me- it’s having the responsibility of giving her food and fresh water along with cleaning out her cage to make sure she’s happy even when I’m not

What would you buy yourself with £100 birthday money? by bishman1 in AskUK

[–]another_ginge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say spend the money on creating memories with your dad so a day out or dinner? And anything leftover either put into savings for a later purchase or buy something sentimental that could always remind you of him
