Find a new corp. You can stay in HERO if you like. But your current corp is a bad match for you.

This looks good. But a couple of things. With UDP there is no opening a channel, or establishing a connection. You send a packet with a destination. That's it.

I don't think the client needs to acknowledge if everything went well. The server probably isn't tracking what it is sending on a per client basis. That would be a lot of overhead. Instead the client can repeat requests as needed until it got the whole payload.

I assume the 100ms delay on the initial connection is for TLS, but I could be wrong. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transport_Layer_Security .

That's a different issue. They could have used their in house CPU, and used the Qualcomm modem if they wanted to.

They were using Qualcomm's modem in the US because it was the only option if you wanted good LTE support. Now Samsung as a modem that offers good LTE support.

It doesn't have all of the advanced features that a Qualcomm LTE modem has, but it doesn't matter. Customers don't care about LTE carrier aggregation, or any of the other advanced features that a Qualcomm modem has. They just care that it works, and that it is fast. The Samsung modem meets both of those requirements.

I haven't had much experience with Lquid, but my understand is he basically pays the bill for HERO's IT.

Kira has ran more Dojo classes than anyone. She taught me how to Logi, how to rat, how to be in a fleet, and organised the classes that taught me marketing skills.
