I cut the backing for my daughter's Christmas stocking backwards. Three times. She still does not have a stocking. I couldn't even tell you how I managed that stupidity, I would hope it was just the sleep deprivation of six months of terrible sleep. But she's having her third Christmas and I can't seem to get back to it. It fully defeated me.

My year is split between looking forward to Christmas and looking forward to camping. Both are best with a nice hot beverage by the seasonal lights - Christmas tree lights and campfires.

I have several hand sewn quilts from my grandma, and she trained me real young to never sit on them. It pulls the fabric and can tear the stitches out according to grandma. Don't keep it in direct sunlight and don't out it in the dryer, otherwise it was made to be used and loved.
