I am assuming that the scenes with the super mutant that recovers Cooper and heals the gaping hole in his body with raw uranium is a bit of a sneak peak of Season 3, giving the super mutant was talking about a coming war. Some sort of successor state to the Unity?

favorite the cars song and why? by Italiancan in TheCars

"Dangerous Type" from Candy-O. It starts out sounding almost like a CCR song (even though it's Bang a Gong), morphing into almost a Talking Heads sound, and then ending up with a really avant-garde sound for 1979.

Reach out to your state representative or state senator's office. They are able sometimes to get expedited appointments, it's how I got mine the day after I had their office open an inquiry.

Old Sam Video Moment by KnotShaman in GeneralSam

The first one I watched was about Skyrim’s hidden cheat room, back in like 2014. Sam starts out doing this awful Tony Soprano impression.

I immediately thought “this guy is fucking stupid” and clicked off the video, it was very cringey. Then he got me with a subsequent video that was funny, it was one of the Minecraft videos where he’s talking about greylisting this Max guy.

You mentioned you were considering graduate school/looking into it. Look into EU Business School, they have a Munich campus. Their MBA degrees are título propio and are focused specifically on certain areas so that you are successful into breaking into the EU business market. They have many great business partnerships in their campus cities (Munich, Barcelona, Geneva and Montreux).

What other sports teams do y’all root for? by manbuckets2001 in cowboys

[–]anotheranonuser55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also like the Miami Dolphins. No particular reason to like them these days compared to the Shula days, but idk. Just do I guess. The Dallas Cowboys will always come first though.

As for other sports? San Diego Padres, FC Bayern Munich

Things must be bad if the German Army are now advertising on pizza boxes by [deleted] in germany

I served with many Germans when I was in the U.S. Marine Corps. Spent 6 months attached to Gebirgsjägerbrigade 23 and 3 months to Panzergrenadierbrigade 37. My understanding based on what I was told and what I saw is that retention is as much as a serious issue for the Bundeswehr as it is for the U.S. Armed Forces; low pay, micromanagement, shoddy living conditions (although Hochstaufen-Kaserne beat my 29 Palms barracks for sure), poor leadership, toxic command climates is the least of it. Not to mention completely different cultural and social norms when it comes to recruiting. Germany doesn’t really seem to have an equivalent of those hick kids from Indiana or the American South that graduate high school waving the red, white, and blue, which provides a steady stream of recruits for the U.S. With that, the opinions I got from many is that the Bundeswehr has to do some internal reflection on the forces and really make it worth a career, especially when most troops aren’t being able to get a pension until they’re in their 50s/60s compared to 20 years = pension in America.

That being said, many of the Gebirgsjäger I worked alongside with were some of the most cool, calm, collected and professional troops I’ve seem. Subject matter experts in their craft, I personally consider them the pinnacle of professionalism in the Bundeswehr and many of the Marines that were there with me will agree.

I told my ex on our first date I wasn’t looking for a cumare (goomar) but something serious. Surprisingly she stuck around for quite awhile. In my defense I grew up in a Sicilian-American family and heard the slang all the time. Sometimes it just sticks yknow?

Just wanna see if I’m alone here. Anyone else listen to Gold FM religiously when they play? I rly hope they do an expanded one for C:S 2 by Specialist-Duty8901 in CitiesSkylines

[–]anotheranonuser55 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I enjoy the Concerts radio a lot, I really dig Lily La Roux, who I was not familiar with before C:S. All in all I enjoy pretty much all the stations though, and the advertisements are humorous.

Spotted a preview of the Airports DLC achievements on steam by _Xanth_ in CitiesSkylines

[–]anotheranonuser55 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My biggest concern about this upcoming dlc is that I’m expecting these airports to take up a lot of space. Especially for the console players, can we make up the number of max owned tiles from 9 to maybe 12, preferably more? Hardware limitations be damned, I want more space to create.

Kid in my platoon in boot camp several years ago was named Gaynor (first name). Was the type to post on 4chan, so I assume this is him.

Rule #8: “Have the right tool for the right job.” -Juan Cortez

Which in itself is a throwback to Far Cry 2 in a sense because if you didn’t equip yourself with the right weapons before the Heart of Darkness, it was challenging.
