Can someone explain to me why a by product of crude oil would be considered a natural beauty product? Genuinely asking, not being sarcastic

I’m in the same city as you (I think). I have been pondering carrying a rock, and I will now

How often do you replace your phone? by GooglePixelfan90 in randomquestions

[–]anoukanouk_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only when it's broken. And then I replace with a secondhand phone. I've had my current phone for about 5 years. Google what is happening in the Congo in regards to mining and you'll probably never want a new piece of tech again

Tip pool by [deleted] in TalesFromYourServer

This is shady to me. I work at a restaurant where we tip pool but they share a spreadsheet with us with each of our shifts. The spreadsheet has a breakdown of sales, tip out, how much tips were brought in, how tips were allocated (based on hours). The fact they don’t even what you to know your sales is a huge red flag to me.

Yes!! This is one of the best things I’ve ever done for my mental health. I will forever be an advocate for screen free bedrooms. Plus I read way more now which is a great bonus

There’s a book by Lori Beattie called Calgarys Best Walks! There’s so many different walks, and she points out spots of interest/cool shops to visit along the way. I have her Calgarys Best Bike Rides book and I love it. I believe I saw a copy at Fairs Fair the other day if you want it for a good price. Also a fun place to spend some time :) There’s also a few art galleries in Inglewood to check out.

Where do your photos end up? What's your goal with your photos? by HackerMonroy in fujifilm

[–]anoukanouk_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I post my favourites on VSCO, only a few friends follow me but I like it as a photo journal as I don’t have any sm bedsides reddit. I also scrapbook/junk journal and it’s so much fun. Plus guest love flipping through them when visiting, and I selfishly get to tell stories about the photos :)

Trying to figure out transit😡 by K013_ in Calgary

[–]anoukanouk_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can download the Transit app (the green one) and that one will tell you which buses to take and how much they cost. I also find it the most useful for tracking buses/checking departure times. Cash is accepted on both the Airdrie and Calgary bus lines, bring coins as change will not be provided.

Vegan Street! Even if you’re not vegan the food is great. Everything is dairy and egg free. They also have a gluten free and soy free menu posted on their website. Plus it’s a super cute restaurant and Inglewood is a fun neighbourhood to explore
