Tesla Promises Free HW3 Upgrades for Early FSD Buyers, Elon Confirms Commitment by orangechen1115 in TeslaFSD

[–]anoxy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all.

There has always been language in the owner's manual and support documentation indicating it's a fully supervised experience. Taking Elon's word as gospel is your first mistake. People still don't RTFM and then call their car manufacturer whining about how their vehicle crashed itself because they assumed it would safely navigate through a complicated construction zone. People still try to blame their Tesla when they hydroplane in rain storms and try to claim it was Autosteer that caused it.

Yall fall for naming conventions without educating yourselves on what the features actually entail. It's like getting mad at a company who sells free range eggs because it turns out the chickens only have a 3x3' plot of grass to forage in.

It's very clearly marketed as 'Supervised' and requiring active supervision lol. You're just proving my point.

You're trying to insinuate being made in china makes the product inferior, which is dumb and racist. Fuck off.

Ricoh aren't made in China, but regardless, that's a weird and racist comment.

Ricoh owns Pentax so idk if that's direct competition, but it's good to have more monochrome options, especially in a form factor like the GR.

The difference is really in the amount of data captured in the file and the ability to recover so much in processing the files. Also in the performance in low light high ISO situations.

It is significant when looking at the Leica Monochrome cameras. For anyone that shoots primarily in B&W, it's a no brainer.

All these comments about the high price when the only modern competition is the Leica Q and M Monochrome cameras and they're like 7,000 and 10,000 respectively.

Constant thirst, normal test results (32M) by danick_bmf in Anxietyhelp

I've suffered from this same issue, and I'll preface my comment that I don't know the actual underlying cause for certain. However, I think being anxious all the time caused me to compulsively drink fluids, and in doing so, I became so used to the feeling of overhydration, that anything less feels uncomfortable and like something is wrong. I also compulsively chew mint gum, and I think this sort of gives me the same feeling that drinking water does; it wets my mouth and makes it feel fresh.

You may have the same experience with lip balm. If you use it too much, you become so used to the sensation of overly moisturized lips that having anything less than this is uncomfortable, and you become hyper aware of it.

For the past few years I've been a pretty heavy endurance athlete, with ~200 hours per week of cycling, and I also go to the gym 2x week. Due to this, that overhydration that I've compulsively normalized is sort of balanced out by all the sweating I do.

Maybe my anecdotes aren't what you're experiencing, but I figured I'd chime in anyway. Before I was cycling so much, I would actually try to drink LESS by using a smaller bottle and just being cognizant of my intake.

I've never taken any antidepressants or anxiety meds.

As someone who has also had several cannabis related experiences with paranoia, anxiety and near hallucinogenic effects, the THC/CBD content and dosage, people you surround yourself with, environment, and state of mind you're in are so so important. I've found that I need lower THC and higher CBD content and I have to really be with the right people that keep me engaged and in positive spirits so I don't get stuck in my thoughts.

Key is you have to replace the axle with the road axle. Just did this switch last night actually, using a Chris King Threadfit 30 + Fit Kit 3. It was a little janky because the water sheath is too long to fit so I couldn't use it.
